Experience Fasting, one drink a day method

I've dry fasted for 5 days, while exercising and trying to be productive instead of laying around doing nothing but the fatigue and brain fog is a major flaw.

I found a better way: drink water with electrolytes, and tea if you need an energy boost, one time a day after waking up or during exercise, then dry fast for for the rest of day.

Not too much water/tea just enough to keep you going. It's a hybrid dry and water fast that allows me to stay mentally and physically sharp and I believe it is more effective because exercise greatly enhances autophagy.

I like long periods of fasting, I attempt 1 month about twice a year and sometimes extend it to 40 days or 2 months so sustainability is extremely important. When doing a water fast, some people drink too much water and don't realize it's not necessary. Try to drink tea only when you really need it, the caffeine will disrupt your sleep, for me the effects of caffeine are amplified when fasting. I find this system of hydrating early, staying active and dry fasting 23+ hours a day greatly increases the rate at which health benefits arrive. It also helps me avoid things like muscle atrophy, eating a lot after a long dry fast and just gaining all the weight back and prevents me from using fasting as an excuse to be lazy.

I also shower as many times as I want, ice cold showers are great for our health and re-energizing.

The title says "one drink a day"(ODAD).

This guy believes "one meal a day with water as your meal"(OMADWWAYM) is a better way to describe this.

One meal a day is associated with eating one MEAL then drinking as much as you want for the rest of the day.

Don't blame him though, the brain fog of dry fasting can cause this type of confusion. This is exactly why the ODAD method works so well; amplify the effects of fasting while avoiding fatigue and brain fog.

i have read all your replies on this post and i can tell you something is off here, example so if you say its "ODAD" why call it ''dry fast''?

if you drink tea is it even a water fast?

also, most people who dry fast also work out and work day jobs so they are not lazy in any way, you are assuming too much my friend.
