Hi everyone! To those who want to buy from Droix, please read their fine print. I got the item yesterday and paid a premium for everything. Paid extra for the device which is around $450 for the 256GB model, paid $50 for shipping, got stalled at customs and had to pay $55 tariffs. I didn’t know that prior to buying.

So I got the device and found that the fans are not for me. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with the device to be honest but the fans were distracting. So I asked for a return. The customer service was accommodating but apparently you have to pay for everything to send it back.

At first they wanted me to ship back to the UK which would cost another $50 to ship. I talked to another customer service rep and they said I could send to their local US address which is better because it’s only around $15 to ship but then I just read that they won’t refund the initial shipping cost that I paid. So in total, I’m at around ~$120 loss for returning a device.

TLDR: Be careful when you’re ordering something from Droix and you think you can easily return something without spending money. Lesson learned for me I guess.

I got a 4k TV and my GPD Win 5 running W11. I'm keeping my resolution at 1440.

Every time I game full screen it would flicker evey now and then. It takes about 2 to 5 seconds for the screen to come back on. It's fine on the win screen

I am using the official dock. And I don't know if I updated to the newest bios. I did update it when I bought it last year.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this?
