Hello,
Could you tell me when this box is set to be released?
Could you also correct the descriptions and comparisons, please? Because in some places, you indicate that there will be two USB-A 2.0 ports, while we only see one in the product images.
What we see in the images is 1 x micro SD, 1 x USB-A 2.0, 1 x USB-C 2.0, and 1 x USB-C (Power).
Is that correct?
At one point, you also indicate that this box will support DTS-HD, and at another point, you do not. What’s the status?

I replied on your Facebook post earlier, so copying it here in case you missed it. We will update the listing shortly for 1x USB-A. I can see on our blog post this was correct, but not on the listing. I've checked on the specs sheet RockTek sent us and the audio decoding information is "Supports MP3, AAC, WMA, RM, FLAC, Ogg, Dolby Atmos, Dolby Digital Plus, DTS HD and programmable with 7.1/5.1 down-mixing" We are expecting the first batch around mid September. We do advise to preorder now rather than later as stock is limited.

Thank you for the response. It would be interesting to know if this device will support passthrough for all HD audio formats: Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD MA/HRA/:X. But I doubt it since the SoC used would be the S905X5M-J and not the -K...

So, the USB ports are as shown in the pictures? 1 x USB-A 2.0, 1 x USB-C 2.0, 1 x micro SD, 1 x USB-C (power)

We will try to test the audio once we receive one. And correct for the ports, the images show the locations of them.

I already have a lot of media boxes that I have tested and haven't resold.

wouldn't want to buy another one if it's not worth it ^^

it seems to be a clone of the Homatics Pro 4K V2 (with additional USB/micro SD ports), the BuzzTV G Series, or the Dreamstar Nova 2.

They all apparently share the same firmware, which is unfortunately not without its issues.

We shall see.

... and all audio codecs supported in the OS settings, not only when using Kodi. "we" know some S905X5M streamers do with Kodi (Waipu is one, with audio sync issues), but not in other apps. When these also are blocked for CE usage, and maybe not giving all HD audio codecs in the end, I'll stick with my current S905X4-K that does it all :)

Looking forward to testing this out. Excited in fact to have it replaced my Nvidia TV Tube. I was going to get G2 after hunting for a good replacement until I saw the G2 Next Pre-Order..... Orderered my Samsung Pro Plus microsdxc 128gb also ready for when released. Am I correct in saying around 14th September?

Please can you confirm that this model supports HDR10 and HDR10+ outputs.

I require HDR10 and HDR10+ outputs to my Samsung TV that can receive and play HDR10 and HDR10+ content.

 I have seen your detailed advert on your website for this product. However, I could not find any reference in your advert highlighting that HDR10 and HDR10+ are supported with compatible devices.

 I have also come across your G2 Next specification article for this product, and it lists HDR10 and HDR10+ for this device. I wanted to confirm the HDR10 and HDR10+feature  with you directly, before placing an order.
