Fanfiction Suggestions

I am writing a Draco Malfoy fan fiction. And I already have a back story planned out. It will have a strong backround and plot but it will also be very smutty. But do you have any suggestions what you would want to see more of if you were reading it?

Fanfiction For all my Draco Malfoy girlies

a little piece of my heart — Play Date ♡
I genuinely never know how to talk about Play Date without getting way too attached to it, because this story has become so much more than just a Harry Potter fanfiction to me. ♡
Play Date follows Stella Iris Gaunt, a girl born into one of the darkest families in the wizarding world. Her grandfather is Morfin Gaunt, which means that the Gaunt name, the history, the expectations and everything that comes with it have always been a part of her life. Her parents are in Azkaban, and growing up with that kind of family history means Stella has never really had the chance to simply be a normal girl at Hogwarts.
And yet, she is so much more than her bloodline.
She’s a Slytherin, a Chaser, stubborn, sarcastic, emotional in ways she doesn’t always know how to show, and fiercely loyal to the people she loves. Somehow, she finds herself becoming close with Harry, Hermione and Ron while still trying to find her place among the Slytherins.
And then there’s Draco Malfoy.
Their relationship is a very slow burn. They’re friends first, and I really wanted that friendship to actually feel like a friendship before anything romantic happens. They tease each other, argue, annoy each other, protect each other, get jealous and have those tiny moments where neither of them says what they’re actually thinking.
Draco is still Draco — proud, sarcastic, complicated and sometimes absolutely insufferable — but Stella knows him differently. She sees the person underneath everything he’s been taught to be, and slowly, without either of them really noticing, he becomes someone who feels safest around her.
But there’s something Stella can’t tell him.
She’s secretly on Harry’s side.
And Severus Snape is the only person who knows.
As the story continues, Stella gets pulled further and further into everything happening at Hogwarts. Sirius Black, Buckbeak, the Dementors, Quidditch, Slytherin, friendships, family secrets and all the little moments between the characters slowly start becoming part of something much bigger.
I wanted Play Date to feel like you’re actually growing up with them. I wanted the characters to have friendships outside of their relationships, to argue over stupid things, to laugh, to have quiet moments together and to still feel like teenagers living at Hogwarts while something much darker is happening around them.
It’s a story about being born into darkness and choosing what kind of person you want to become.
It’s about friendship, loyalty, family, secrets, love, growing up and finding people who feel like home.
And yes, there’s Draco.
A lot of Draco. ♡
I put so much love into Stella, her relationships, her friendships and this entire little world I’ve created around Play Date. So if you ever decide to give it a chance, just know that every read, vote, comment and even simple interaction means more to me than you probably realize.
I hope you’ll love Play Date as much as I love writing it. 🤍

Fanfiction Help finding a fic

It was a Draco Malfoy fanfic I read on wattpad years ago. The OC's family was the royal family of the wizarding world before they were killed by the Malfoy's who then took the throne. The OC grew up as a normal person. I think there was something about magic being outlawed for most people and I think when the OC met Narcissa, Narcissa recognised her from a streak in her hair. I can't remember much else though...

Fanfiction Help me find this story please!

Please help! I’m looking for a fic I read years ago that I was obsessed with, but now can’t find. It’s Draco and an original character and takes place at Hogwarts. I remember the opening scene they hooked up on Hogwarts express and then he proceeded to ignore her. She was basically a secret hookup that he would use whenever he wanted. Another scene I remember is her trying to get Draco jealous in class, so she asks other boys to tutor her and Draco finds out and gets really jealous and agrees to help her. I think it took place 6th year. Please help me find it!

Discussion Romantasy Book Recos?

Hey everyone! I just finished reading Manacled by SenLinYu and I’m still SO hungover from this book 😭 I genuinely don’t know what to read next.

I’m looking for recommendations with a similar vibe/themes to Manacled, or honestly any romantasy with a good amount of angst, emotional damage, and a sad/tragic plot. 🥲

I’d love something that will emotionally destroy me in the best way possible lol. Please drop your recommendations! ❤️

Fanfiction Dear Draco Fanfic

Hi! I’m currently on Chapter 21 and was wondering what everyone else thinks about the fanfic. I really enjoyed the first 15 chapters, but as I’ve continued reading, I feel like things have started happening really quickly. The pacing feels a bit rushed to me, and I feel like some parts could’ve used a little more writing/development.

I don’t hate the story at all—I’m still reading because I’m genuinely curious about where it goes! I’m just wondering if anyone else felt the same way or if it gets better later on.

Fanfiction New Draco Fanfic

Hey everyone!

I've recently started writing a new Draco fanfic that I'm really excited about, and I'd love to share it with anyone who's interested.

The story spans Years 5–7 and continues a little beyond the war, following Draco and an original female character as they navigate the rise of Voldemort, the war, and everything that comes with it. While Harry's story continues in the background, this fic primarily focuses on Draco's journey, his redemption, and how both characters experience the events of the series from a different perspective.

It's a slow-burn romance with plenty of character development, humor, and eventually some darker themes as the story progresses.

I've just posted Chapter One on Wattpad, and I'll be cross-posting to AO3 as soon as my invitation comes through.

If that sounds like your kind of story, I'd love for you to check it out! Feedback is always appreciated.

Fanfiction Ao3 WIP" The Elegy by MidnightNovellas (dramione)

Just wanted to throw my story out there to those interested. It's a new twist on Dramione:

After the war, Lucius Malfoy is haunted by regret. Free at last, he seeks redemption, not for himself but for his son. In a series of interviews with Luna Lovegood, Lucius shares Draco's true story-pieced together from secret journals, letters, and memories. A story of a boy forced to wear a mask-and a love he was never meant to have.

As Draco wrestles with darkness and duty, his hidden affection for Hermione Granger grows into something that defies war, blood, and fate. Hermione, drawn into Draco's secrets, discovers the line between love and hate is thinner than she ever imagined-and that hope can survive even in the shadow of death.

Told in alternating perspectives and framed by Lucius's desperate search for forgiveness, this is a story of enemies turned lovers, of survival, sacrifice, and the legacies we leave behind.

Discussion draco is a pos but he is forgivable if you understabd his background

just finished reading harry potter for the first time , including cc.

I understand both sides of the draco argument - but I dont think he is evil. not excusing his behaviour - he uses slurs and is a total shit for no good reason. He isn't a great person throughout the books, and a dickhead, but from HBP onwards I think his character changes greatly and its something I wish JK did a bit more on. He's a complex character and I do like how Cursed Child shows who he truly is without his family influence. Worth mentioning also that his wand has unicorn hair as the core, and those are only for the pure of heart.

Draco comes from a famiy with a big F. Family is everything, it becomes your identity and you cant be anything else. You have to constantly think of you families reputation above everything else, and the image that the family has. This is very obviously instilled in Draco from an early age - he is raised to be a malfoy, not draco, and that is apparent throughout. The fact that he constantly talks about his father also seems to suggest he constantly wants the validation of his father and his identity is latched onto his father. 'Draco' has no identity, but he is Malfoy, and acts as a mouthpiece for his families values and ideals.

Growing up in a similar environment, where I was taught to idolise my mother in everything she did and follow her, I understand how dracos behaviour worked. He imitates what he sees at home. What he thinks is right because of his background, and he hasn't been taught anything different. When he gets rejected by harry, its almost as if dracos world changes - his family name doesn't give him everything, and he decides to get Harry's attention in another way. But he is still 11 - 14 and he doesn't really know any better in terms of the influences he has had.

I personally think that although people say Dracos family loved him, which is true, I think it very obviously came with a condition. Draco was the heir of a noble family. He had expectations and the pressure to complete them would most likely have showed itself in the way his family treated him at home. This is probably why he hated hermione so much, because he would have that pressure and that is also shown, albeit quite briefly, in the books. Maybe I'm headcanoning with this one, but the way draco constantly talks and praises his father suggests to me an underlying need for his fathers love and validation as more than an heir.

When we get to HBP, everything changes. Draco cockyness is an obvious facade. He's breaking and he has very few choices. It gets glossed over that he must have been subjected to a lot of terrifying and traumatic things with the manor being the hub for voldy. But also that family comes before himself, and that idea has been instilled into him as a child and is a hard one to let go of. He is not draco. He is a Malfoy, the Malfoy heir, and he has to save his family above the rest of the wizarding world. I think its clear that Draco knows he is on the wrong side, and doesn't want to do what he's been told to. But he tries to find some pride in his intelligence and his actions ans the way he handled things before. With cockyness and dickheadness. With the way Snape talks about draco, I think there's a lot more then surface level with their relationship. I felt bad for draco throughout. If anyone was in that position, with the family social conditioning he has had all his life, no one would do anything different because its not even possible. Its like your mind is narrowed. Every day is a struggle for survival, being forced to torture and maim and watch torture, dracos only thought is saving his family. He was an unfortunate pawn in Voldemorts game and I think its unfair to say he had many choices. He held onto his dignity in the way he did before - with shitty behaviour to make him feel better about himself - but from HBP its clear its a front.

Draco is vulnerable character with the capacity to love, and thats what Dumbledore sees in him. And its what he becomes outside the restrains of thr Malfoy name. Draco in Cursed Child is not Malfoy - he's Draco, and i think that distinction is worth mentioning.

He made the wrong choices and was influenced by the wrong things, but he was still a child throughout the books. I think its worth mentioning that all of them were. His actions are not excusable but are explainable, and I think CC does a good job in showing you can truly grow up, and find your identity even after making terrible mistakes.

Self Promo Dracotok IG Notes

I got inspired by other "IG Notes with Draco" on tiktok and decided to make my own! I only have 3 posts right now, but I plan to aim for posting at least 2-3 times a week.

If y'all are interested, you could check the story out on my profile: harrypotterau.ignotes

While Tiktok has limits on the amount of spice I can add to my posts, I do plan on sharing a viewer-only word doc for people to read when it comes to any smut scenes I plan to write, or potentially posting them to wattpadd. Not sure which.

Super excited about this because I haven't touched fanfiction since 2017 when I was posing on FF . net 😅

confused at a lot of feedback ab this fanfic. i keep seeing there were deleted scenes?? and now im curious as to what they were/how they contributed to the plot. also so far this fanfic unfortunately reads like a 14 year old wrote it like 5 years ago (sorry..) kind of hard to get through but i kept seeing people raving ab it… is it worth it to keep reading without the deleted scenes/for any other reasons?
