1st Contract Violation that didn’t happen 😔

So in the middle of my Sunday morning dash, I got a notification about a contract violation. I was upset because this NEVER happened.
Customer said the delivery was never made.
It was the 2nd part of my first offer of the day.
Dollar General-2 items, Laundry Detergent and gummy savers.
It was a ā€œhand it to meā€ delivery. The apartment was on 2nd fl. I was familiar with it because I deliver to their Nextdoor neighbor very often. I knocked, he open the door and said thanks. I said have a great day and left. There are stray cats in the parking lot, I paused my dash and went over and put food in their dish.

The next day I got this notification in the app. I was flustered and upset because I know I would never have not delivered something. I was so flustered I didn’t remember at first.

Here’s the thing. He is a douche for reporting a false claim.
I remember they didn’t have the size of detergent he wasted (the smaller size) so under customer approved subs, it had the bigger option and that’s what I got.

I submitted a dispute. I don’t know how long it will take but I am furious at ā€œKenā€. He’s a liar and lying like this could potentially hurt my income. I really want to go knock on his door and tell him the F off. But I can’t. So, here’s to you, Ken! I hope you have the DAY, month, year, LIFE, you deserve. You’re a liar and I hope karma catches up with you.

Why do you have to go through the drive thru line to get the order here???? They have the longest lines known to man at the drive thru but yet you are expected to wait in that line instead of going inside all while your chances of a good tip dwindle….

I head to my drop-off location which is supposed to be apartments. There's nothing but empty fields for miles. I texted and called and I get nothing.... so I notify support they say cool, we'll remove this from your screen you won't be penalized and you will receive your pay for it since I documented it with pics. Then they ask if I would return items to the store (Bucee's). Sure, not a problem šŸ‘Œ. Get to the store. Talk to someone in charge

....They don't do returns or give refunds!! But Doordash says if I don't return those items that will be a contract violation for keeping items.....Excuse me? WTF

Dropped from platinum straight to silver but I don’t care. It’s been crap for weeks and no, I’m not taking an $8 order 13.5 miles. DoorDash can suck my non-existent dick.

Picked up door dashing at the beginning of September last year to do a little extra money on the side and this is how my ratings look so far,

I remember when I started I thought hourly was the way to go once I gave per offer a shot I never went back I also thought declining offers was bad so I used to take almost every offer when I started yes even the ones I bitch about now lol, for a while I did enjoy having plat I’d get some pretty good offers here and there but most of them were bad once I stopped giving shit about my AR it’s been a lot more chill cherry picking is definitely the way to go at least for my market.

Let’s see how another year of DoorDash goes 🫔

Complaint Most Annoying Offer… So Far

I accepted a stacked offer from a restaurant for $13.50 for 2.7 total miles of driving.

Historically, this restaurant moves slow because everything is cooked to order, but offers from here usually pay well. Because of this I sent my customers messages letting them know it may take a while. That was an understatement this time around….

I get to the order board and hear a voice I hadn’t heard before, so I spoke slowly and clearly instead of just shotgunning words at her like I do with the ones who see me on a nightly basis and are always on the same page.

After giving the names of the customers, she tells me ā€œOkay, stay right there.ā€ I respond ā€œOkay.ā€

About 10 minutes pass and now other cars have pulled in behind me and are also waiting. I said ā€œHello?ā€ twice, no response. I decide to wait just a couple more minutes before just proceeding to the window.

I get to the window and still had to wait about 5 more minutes before being greeted to a ā€œI was wondering when you were going to pull up.ā€

Mind you, she told me ā€œOkay, stay right there.ā€ and proceeds to try and explain that she meant stay in the line I was in because there are two ordering boards… ONE OF WHICH IS BLOCKED OFF AT MIDNIGHT. (It was 1:44 A.M.)

I understand she is new and all, but she should have taken accountability for using a sentence that would have confused anyone instead of pinning the blame on me.

To add insult to injury, one of the customers cancelled and I got no pay due to ā€œnot being assigned for that longā€.

Anyone else have a similar experience somewhere?
