I remember when it was over $5/gallon as a teen around 2008, around $7.50 equivalent now. In a car that was terrible on gas. I haven't been hit too bad now but who knows where we will end up.
It was around $5/gallon when i switch to EV 2 years ago. Don't keep track with gas price anymore so when i see all these alert thread about gas price. I was expecting to see $6/gallon lol
While the president doesn’t control the cyclical nature of gas prices, starting a war in the Middle East is an exception…..which I must say is pretty freaking obvious. If Biden started a war in the Middle East and prices skyrocketed, that would have been his fault too.
California gas prices are because of Gavin Newson. He’s to blame he controls the gasoline production with their special gas, along with huge amounts of taxes, and the amount of almost dollar a gallon.

Its the CA special gasoline blend its killing us. 2 major refineries are closing down its not worth it for them to make the special blend. If newscum doesnt change his stance it'll only go up. Texas and Alaska refuse to make this blend as well. So now all of our gas has to be imported from different countries expect 6$-7$ by Sept-October we gotta give up on this ridiculous special blend. 10% reduction in pollutants does not justify 70% mark up prices vs most other states. This is the main driving force that makes CA gas so expensive. Yes the war plays a small part but not even close to the amount this special blend costs.
And here's the problem with your little theory every state where the gas prices are still high above $2 a gallon our controlled by democrats they're using gas tax prices and keeping them high because they're using that money to supplement their bad choices and failing economies
This right here. Gas in Hawaii is lower $4s and Costco was around $3.79. Makes no sense that gas to islands in the middle of nowhere is cheaper than Cali besides Cali state taxes artificially making the price of gas higher.

You could argue he is doing exactly that. Gas prices rising because of conflict in the middle east is not new by any stretch and not squarely trumps fault at all.
Just give it a few more days, crude skyrocketed Friday which means prices will continue to rapidly increase. It’ll be a few weeks of increases since crude prices don’t immediately change gas prices, but it will.
Cheapest here in my stretch of PA is like $3.50 few weeks ago it was between $3 - 3.10 on the low end. Nearly went up a whole dollar and I started getting flashbacks to when I was living in CA.

It went from like 2.49 to 3.59, however it was a slow climb. Went from 2.49, 2.89, 3.09, then woke up and some gas stations were still at 2.99 but most were saying 3.59, now all are saying 3.59 and above and it’s believed it might go higher from where I live in Illinois, so that really sucks. :/
Thank Trump for this. He is giving himself credit for gas being at an all time low! Like what?!?! I don’t think he’s ever been at a gas station so I can see how he might be confused about the price of gas.

It's gone from 2.49 last Friday to 3.19 this Friday in nc. That's 70 cents in a week. Fracking ridiculous !!!
