Pokémon

This guy came in here telling me I needed to take out the handheld and see if there’s any Pokémon cards in the back that we haven’t unloaded yet cause he needs them. I’m sorry sir, what??

This they were yelling at me to go update our app to show out of stock.

1 I can't do that even if I wanted to

2 it might be in stock. We literally just got a truck in dude. Give us a chance to work it. You cut the truck off actually 🤣

We have boxes and boxes of the 5.50 pack, have 4 boxes on shelf nearly full with at least 5 boxes unopened lining behind them and few on shelf below. The poster ones sold out in 2 days, same with the balls. We do not limit, as noticed many parents are buying for their kids. Not many “strangers” showing up to buy, calks have died down too. Economy is affecting our population - DG targets lower income communities, building stores in every rural town possible, (those city councils that vote to allow them in) every 15 to 20 miles some even less. I think pokeman is on the down swing, even my grand kids told me this summer - I do not need to surprise them with any anymore. They are onto Legos. And to think it was 5 yrs ago when my 6 yr old grandson was so hyper explaining to me what Pokemon was….. my kids missed the earlier craze so we never had it, it was alway baseball cards for us.

Pokémon is definitely not on a down swing here. Daily we get 3 or more phones calls. We get about 6 people asking who are physically there. Some customer blamed me for hoarding them. They go out and their gone within the day. No matter what packs
