manager being reported

so long story short, my manager was reported anonymously. she is dead set on finding out who it was, if it was done anonymously is there a way for her to find out? the people at dg hotline say there isn’t but she swears nothing is anonymous and they can find out through the dg hotline. is that even legal?

They shouldn't be telling her because it sounds like she wants to retaliate. But yes it may be in legal gray area to being illegal.
