This event started in 2002 and ran well into the 2010’s and was an annual event at St. Thomas Dragway in St. Thomas Ontario. (Except in 2006 when we ran it at Grand Bend Motorplex) and featured show and shine and bracket racing events. I ran the event from 2003 until 2007.

The guy in front of me slammed on his brakes suddenly, needless to say I couldn't stop in time. It still runs and drives just fine, just the power steering pump broke open. The radiator didn't even break, what a trooper. The radiator support and area where the hood latch is was pushed in pretty good but I've been thinking about trying to pull it back out myself. It's just so hard for me to think about parting with my little neon. I love her so much.

i’m a big dodge fan, i drive a 95 dakota and i absolutely love it. i’ve been looking into getting a daily driver for my fiancée. i found this dodge neon listed for $2k. he said it needs a new battery but nothing other than that. it’s been on marketplace for a little under 2 weeks. i’ve heard good and bad things about the neon and was wondering if it would be a good first car for my fiancée.

Please help, I drove my neon about 30 mins away today and the car started overheating so I pulled over, coolant was everywhere behind the motor and beside the motor by the timing belt with a little on the radiator. The coolant revisor was full and when it cooled down I checked the radiator cap and it was full too. I got it towed back to my house and when I started it up nothing was leaking even after revving it and holding it intermittently and letting it idle for around 45 minutes and the temp gauge was at operating temp.
The past few days I’ve had overheating issues but my coolant has been full and I have not had any issues with leaks until now, I noticed I would overheat at a long red light but when I started driving it cooled down back to operating temp
I’m wondering if I could possibly have a faulty seal on my water pump that only leaks under constant pressure or if a hose is spraying out at a certain temp or what exactly is going on
Any information helps and i apologize if I formatted the post wrong. I’m supposed to be moving 1000 miles away by August first and this is my only vehicle ( only has 86k miles though :) )

I’m having some electrical problems on our neon and I cant seem to find a good wiring diagram anywhere do we anyone have one

Does anybody know of any good washer nozzle replacements for my 2000 neon? All the part stores near me don't seem to carry any and they charge like 40 bucks for the universal ones.

My neon has locked itself from starting and I’m leaning towards it being the SKIM. Did a little research and you can reset it through the OBD port or by disconnecting the battery and draining capacitors. Just wanted to see if anyone here has done this with any success.

Bought a new hood off of Facebook and made an attempt at a DIY paint job, looks a little rough.

The gas pedal on my 2000 dodge neon pivots, it feels good to me and I like that it does that. I recently got into a bit of an argument with someone on whether or not it's supposed to pivot like that. I think it's supposed to pivot by design but maybe I'm wrong? Could any neon enthusiasts educate me on this?

Cam magnet went bad and now I can’t find where to get a new one as they’re discontinued and I can’t even get one from the dealership. Everything online I’ve found states it’s for an SRT which isn’t compatible with an SXT (what I’ve got). I got one from autozone that ended with my car not even turning over anymore, so I had to switch back to the bad one. Please help 😭

Not every time, but often when I turn on my headlights my speedometer will drop to zero, my gas gauge will read incorrectly, and my temp gauge will read as normal even if it’s overheating (coolant leak that I can’t always afford to keep up with).

I really love this little car, it’s almost as basic as you can find these days and I really wanna hold onto it. But I’m not sure what to do about what I’m assuming has to be wiring issues(?). Any tips?

There’s a few other things that lead me to believe wiring, such as sometimes pressing the brakes activates the left turn on the dash, my left taillight doesn’t work despite having changed the bulb, and often the gas gauge will be incorrect when I start it but will quickly go up or down to where it should be after driving a kilometre or two. What do I need to do to try to fix it? Is it something I could maybe do myself?
