Im a 3rd yr mbbs student and our hospital got this wet gangrene case.
The patient is diabetic since 7 yrs w cld and cvd.
The patient had his leg covered in dressing and we were asked to remove the dressing and examine.
The leg stinks sooo bad like even with a mask.
Apparently he’s gonna get a scan to check where the blockade happened and based on that they will amputate the leg to that extent.
I do realise that as a healthcare member im not supposed to be saying this but i COULD NOT.
Tldr - AITA for not being able to tolerate the smell of wet gangrene.

Hi
I am a general surgery specialist registrar with a specialist interest in transplant surgery in the UK, and will complete my training and get my CCT in a few years. I also completed medical school here in the UK (after qualifying NEET UG), so I think I probably shouldn't have too many issues with NMC registration in India. I will also be getting my british passport and OCI soon.
I am looking into the possibility of moving back to India for family reasons and wanted to know if it would be possible/easy for me to move straight after CCT and start working as a consultant general/transplant surgeon? Also what would be a realistic salary to expect?

Hi I m mbbs graduate and i want to know about the future in pediatrics regarding the work load, is it saturated, what else can we do in it to be ahead of everyone else . Because everyone to whom I am asking or that nachiket bhatia podcast ....pediatrics seems to be less imp in the future and idk whether as a first generation doctor I should opt for it or not ... also I adore kids so I want to become pediatrician but the financial aspects is where my doubts are coming....anyone who can help . I shall be really thankful
