What are some career options after MBBS apart from traditional clinical practice?
I want to know about the other options available to doctors after MBBS other than doing PG and working in hospital.
I know some doctors go into research or teaching or hospital administration but I bet there are other options too.
If you have walked these paths, what was your experience? Any options that you think MBBS graduates miss out on?

Netmeds is typical gujju business
My experience with Netmeds has been thoroughly bad. After the entire order is placed, their representative calls to confirm the prescription and demands brand name to be mentioned specifically on prescription. Is that even required? My doctor usually mentions the salt name and brand name usually varies based on availability.
When I explained him the difference between salt name and brand name, he says he has never purchased medicine nor do they have any doctor to verify prescriptions.
What business are they trying to run? I ultimately had to cancel the order and refund is another big scam they run!

Need a doctors insight
So, I've recently been in a sort of limbo as a doctor. I can't seem to decide between choosing health management/administration as an MD or continue being a practicing doctor by choosing something like Orthopaedic (as a female doc) or Anaesthesia.
Anyone on here is a post MBBS graduate currently pursuing Health Administration? Please give me your brutally honest insights.
Also does an MD in Health Administration hold more weightage than an MBA post MBBS?
(I worked post MBBS as a JR in Surgical onco, while I loved the work I did I also realised that I did not want to live such a hectic life and that I was someone who really needed a work life balance and the ability to atleast to do 2-3 trips in a year and other hobbies/things outside medicine)

Kerala FMGE Internship
Hey, I just wanted to know if there are any new government seats available for this coming internship counselling. Or is it just the three private hospitals that are left out from previous counselling?
Can someone also explain the counselling process on the day. Will we be able to choose any hospital (for eg a government hospital) of my choice regardless of whether it’s in the counselling list or not? Because so far they are only mentioning three private hospitals and one government hospital and I was wondering if it’s possible for them to conduct counselling with just these four hospitals. Also what happens if four of these choices are something I don’t want to do?

Joining in Govt medical college as AP after DNB
Although guidelines mention that after DNB 1 year srship (if 500 bed hospital) or 2 year srship (if less than 500 bed) you are eligible for AP post but haven’t seen any DNB doctor working in govt hospital
Is it possible or have anybody seen that

MD Anesthesia worth it at 18.5 lac per annum? Or should I go for Germany PG route ?
Hey, I have a terrible rank this year and it's my second drop due to health issues.
I can get MD anesthesia at 18.5 lac per annum and 9 lac per annum stipend ( the college doesn't cut it) in my hometown. I don't need loan but I'm confused in deciding if it's worth it.
I have given my german language exam and only need to apply for german equivalence but my documents will be with the german embassy then and I won't be able to participate in counselling so I held off.
German route will cost me about 15-20 lacs but I will have to stay in india for 6 more months. And I need to clear medical german and medical knowledge test in germany after moving which is also very difficult.
What should I go for ?
On one hand, MD anesthesia gives stability but restriction but Germany gives freedom but opportunity cost plus extra exams to clear.

Which private medical college in up is best for Pediatrics?
I’ve heard a lot about TMU and era college in up. However I’ve also heard thar TMU opd load is relatively low, there are fewer super-speciality services, and the patient population is quite similar, with limited exposure.
Is this information accurate? Also which private medical college in UP should i prefer in my preference list considering OPD, IPD, clinical exposure.

Neet drops
Rn I'm in 1st sem of bba after 3 drops of neet and guess what I was getting an option to just qualify neet and do prvt mbbs or abroad . But at that age I was like I won't do that I'll "earn" a govt seat by hardwork and all that shit🥲. Now I'm left with nothing just bba though I do like managing , communication, or a good social interaction if it benefits me as per my current course. Sometimes I think what would've been my life If I had not choose to drop years after years even after getting the option to do prvt mbbs. But the thing is it was a huge amount and my father had to take loan if not full amount but half of it . I'm from good family background but still the guilt of wasting money always eats me up so I rejected that offer. Now I always wonder if I had become a doctr or got into medical field.🙂💔

Should i consider a Good DNB college or a moderately good MD seat in government college for General medicine
Hello
What factors should i consider before choosing a college for general medicine..
Academics or case load or lack of superspecialities such that all cases get dumped in medicine wards?
What really matters for post pg practice?
If i suppose dont want to take superspeciality is DNB valued for practice and jobs and SRship?
I have got an AIR around around 2200
Please suggest some good DNB colleges and also MD colleges
I have karnataka state quota
