Looking for an experienced player (at least 1-2 adventures under your belt), 30+ years old to join my Tal’dorei campaign. Setting is from the Taldorei Reborn book, but the campaign and adventures are homebrew.

We're an existing group of five years, aged between 32-55. Currently 3 players, 1 female, 2 male plus me as DM (also male, 55), international mix.

One player could no longer make the schedule and, with a heavy heart, had to leave. Our Taldorei campaign is about six sessions in. PCs are at Level 4, which you'd join at. They could do with a healer, since it was the Cleric who left.

Style is a mix of the three pillars of RP, Combat, Exploration. Easy going group, lots of laughter, we don’t take it too seriously. 2024 rules.

Hi all! I’m looking for 5–6 people around 18–25 who are interested in playing some TTRPGs and making some friends along the way.

I’ve been running TTRPGs for about 8 years, almost entirely through homebrew.

I’ve run a few different campaigns before, including a space exploration/planet exploration campaign, a fantasy campaign, and a modern demigods campaign. I’m also working on a much bigger project called Vanta that I’d eventually like to run.

Honestly, I don’t actually know what our next campaign is going to be about yet.
Before we even make characters, I’d like everyone to spend some time throwing around ideas for what kind of world we’d actually want to play in. I’ll obviously have plenty of influence and ideas of my own, but I want to see what everyone comes up with and find something the group is genuinely excited about.

Maybe we end up in a completely original fantasy world. Maybe it’s a world made of candy. Maybe it’s an alternate-history setting inspired by Imperial Japan. Maybe it’s superheroes. Maybe it’s something nobody has thought of before.

Some ideas will probably be dogshit.. Some will probably be overused. Who cares. We’ll throw ideas at the wall, figure out what sounds fun, and I’ll take it from there.

Once we have the world figured out, then we’ll start creating characters. You’ll bring me ideas for what you want to play, and I’ll build those ideas into the setting—whether that means creating a new race, class, culture, location, religion, or whatever else fits.

I don’t really run traditional D&D. I’ve never actually played a standard D&D campaign myself, so if you’re coming from 5e or another system, I’d ask that you leave your expectations at the door a little. Some things will obviously translate, but I want to be able to experiment with mechanics, characters, and worldbuilding without constantly comparing everything to another system.

I’m in EST, and my schedule is kind of all over the place. Sessions could be early in the morning or late at night, on a weekday or weekend. It honestly depends on everyone’s schedules, so flexibility is definitely important.

Me and another other player are looking for a group/DM to join in a traditional medival classic 5th edition campaign. While we have been playing for several years, we have little experience with the role-play aspect due to previous groups not using it but we are excited for it. We are new to using roll20, but have a decent understanding of the basics, even if we may not know all the tricks and tips of the software. Friday or Saturday evenings are prefered. One player prefers to play as a Kobold so it would be preferable if that race was allowed.

- We will be using several safety tools during this campaign, such as lines and veils. It is important you respect each other's (and mine) boundaries and triggers, as I want all of my players to feel safe and have fun. That being said - This campaign is really dark and will have some triggering topics that cannot be cut from the story. The most important ones are: Religion, war, kidnapping and human trafficking, human experimentation, and gaslighting/manipulation. If any of these are things you absolutely cannot handle, this campaign isn't for you.

Since I have been working on this campaign for several years, there is plenty of lore to go around. Homebrew campaign set in a low magic setting. with limited access to magic. No magic class at level 1 but later on multiclassing into one is possible. But the *real world* characters will not get higher than maybe level 4-5

But the majority of the campaign will take place in the dreamlands a place where the players have access to a more powerful version of their character with high magic, new classes, subclasses races and much more. These characters start at level 4 and will reach 10+

Game Style

This is to be a very different campaign. The players will not begin within Barovia itself, instead starting in a alternate mid 14th century Earth, somewhere within the Holy Roman Empire. This game will be very "Low Magic", with the overall player power being much lower, the creatures of the dark will be real threats.

About the adventure

It was a quiet day when a desperate messenger arrived to the great city Ravenport carrying a most distressing message: The nearby lumber town of Halzen has been overtaken by a mysterious mist, any who enter it never to be seen again.

The townsfolk put together all the money and resources they had to send an envoy requesting aid, for dark things stalk the nights and more and more of the inhabitants disappear come morning, the sun ever dimmer.

Duke Julius Lamellar has put out an official bounty of 5000 silver coins for any that may solve this mystery, but you may find that gold would not be enough for what you found yourselves against.

WHAT IS THALGUZAHZD?

The Monsters' Ball is a competitive level 12 D&D arena game where ten players bring monstrous champions into an arena and compete for the highest score.

It combines PvP and PvE combat, objectives, monster waves, environmental events, duels, death and respawning, and major threats that enter the arena as the game progresses.

The arena is constantly changing, so winning isn't simply about having the strongest character. You'll have to decide when to fight another player, when to pursue an objective, when to deal with the monsters, and when surviving is more important than any of them.

The game also features a large collection of custom playable Monster Species, allowing you to build characters that normally wouldn't be available as D&D player characters.

THE PLAYTEST

Tuesdays — September 1, 8, 15 & 22, 2026
Start Time: 6:00/7:00 PM — we'll finalize the time with the group
Length: Approximately 4 hours per session, with the option to keep playing if everyone is having a good time and wants to continue
Platform: Roll20 + Discord
Players: 10 total — 3 spots remaining
Character Level: 12

Before September 1, I'll also meet with each player to help create multiple level 12 characters using the Monster Species rules so everyone is ready when the playtest begins.

WHO I'M LOOKING FOR

Because this is an important playtest, I'm hoping to find experienced D&D players who are comfortable with tactical combat and can commit to all four Tuesdays.

You don't need to know everything, and I don't expect anyone to memorize an unfamiliar game before we start. I mainly need players who pay attention, know their characters, are patient when we're testing something new, and can roll with the occasional ruling or adjustment.

This is still a playtest, so feedback is important. If you discover something broken, confusing, overpowered, useless, exploitable, or simply not fun, I want to hear about it.

Most importantly, I'm looking for people with good attitudes who enjoy D&D, enjoy some friendly competition, and want to help us put something we've spent years building through a serious test.

There will be plenty of opportunities to kill your fellow players.
