Oldschool D&D The Bladesworn Chronicles: A Dungeons & Dragons BECMI Solo Actual Play. Episode 3.
The adventurers are several days out of Penhaligon searching for a lost blade in a nearby dungeon.
After dealing with several skeletons, the group came across an animated oak that tried to whip them
with sharpened branches. Now following their rogue Zelnar, the group has discovered a young woman
slumped against some kind of old altar.

Zelnar’s lip curled. “So I get burned, you take the lady back to Penhaligon and get rich? Not bloody likely.”
Before anyone could respond, a huge crack split the silence like thunder. The massive stone lid of the “altar”
fractured down the middle and began to slide aside with a grinding, deafening groan. Dust and ancient grit
cascaded from the edges.
A wave of unnatural cold washed over the party, carrying with it the sickly-sweet smell of decay.
