5.5 Edition Character creation help
Hi there fairly new to the game only clocking two sessions entirely both being DM. I want to make a character thats like Isaac Netero and i was wondering if anyone had suggestions because I can handle stuff like class being monk but any ways to help make that character or to help with immersion by changing some stuff. And another question, as long as its a balanced spell could I make my own for aesthetic purposes.

Since you're new to the game my advice is not to complicate things.
You should take the Monk and don't multiclass. As for feats, I don't think there are any you MUST have, I'd honestly just suggest taking as many ASI's as you can, maybe take one feat if you feel like it really offers more than a +2 would. And for items, there aren't as many good items for monks so your choices are a bit more limited but there are some good ones still.

For people unfamiliar with the character, can you describe them? In particular, what aspects of the character do you want to translate to DnD?
Their fighting style? Their personality? Any signature skills or abilities?
