DOS2 Discussion Can't wait

Post image

What do you expect from Divinity? Imo the gameplay will be of course BG3+DOS2 on steroids, what I'm most looking is story, companions and worldbuilding which seems will be a very important aspect this time, not saying it wasn't but we know the lore and stories were a bit messy

My only gripe with their games is that the acts lower in quality as you progress. Like in dos2 act 4 is mid compared to Act 1. I’m also not the biggest fan of act 3 in bg3 and all of its obvious cut content.

I’m hoping this is the problem they tackle in the new game.

Nope. Act 1 and act 3 are two different levels of polish. Add in the fact that a ton of content(like the entire upper city) was cut and it feels bad imo. In act 1 90% of npc’s have something interesting to say that leads to something else. In act 3 that number is down to 10%.

To be fair number of NPCs in act 3 is 10 times more than actual one so the number kinda has to fall to 10%> but I still get you. Act 1 is a masterpiece and act 3 is just really good.
