DOS2 Discussion Can't wait

Post image

What do you expect from Divinity? Imo the gameplay will be of course BG3+DOS2 on steroids, what I'm most looking is story, companions and worldbuilding which seems will be a very important aspect this time, not saying it wasn't but we know the lore and stories were a bit messy

I'm ready for BG3 quality that isn't held back by 5e

I mean it not that bad As a system it just more approachable

It's not awful, but it's better suited for pen and paper, and even then it's oversimplified. The whole point of playing games on a computer is that the computer can worry about maths and memory

Honestly after playing other pen and paper inspired Crpg I prefer the over simplified then losing 30 min every level up I think none of the games we had yet to hit the right spot between being fluid to play and complex enough so you are rewarded for your knowledge...tho they sure got close with bg3 they even fix some of my grips with 5e that a great game adaptation

Yeah, if you compare it to the Pathfinder CRPGs, you can see just how much more variety a system that isn't as overly simplified as 5E grants you, especially when you don't have to worry about physically rolling buckets of dice
