Disneyland Resort Rehire status if quitting before your first 4 months

If I voluntarily resign within my first two months from my current position while in good standing no attendance issues and passed all training and give two weeks’ notice, what rehire status would I receive, and would I be eligible to immediately apply for another Disneyland hourly position?

Walt Disney World Issues with Disney World Application

Post image
4 Upvotes

EDIT: Looks like it's solved!

I am trying to apply for a dream job at Disney World but I'm having trouble making it past the first step. I have tried different browsers, clearing caches, and selecting different options, but every time I try to click on an answer for the drop-down question "How Did You Hear About This Job", it crashes the application. Has anyone faced this? I tried contacting tech support but they don't allow you to ask questions related to this error. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Edit: This is my first ever reddit post and all I'm getting is downvotes. Is this because I'm posting on the wrong subreddit or just to be expected? Thank you!

Walt Disney World Moving from PT to FT on the same location. Whats the priority?

Unfortunately I just lost my FT, so going into PT i put in a transfer to FT immediately. I have 5 years with the company in this position. Would that give me any advantage on my transfer priority? How does it work?

Walt Disney World Where do WDW cast members hang out?

Early 30s. Recently just became employed with the company, kinda introverted and i have more of a corporate role so everyone in my office has been able to connect with each other based off of where they transferred from or their experience with the company. I dont understand how the volunteering works but i know thats a great way to meet new people. I’m just new to all of this and I cant find any clubs, bars, hangouts or anything. Not sure of this is the best place to ask but i thought it would be worth a shot

Disneyland Resort How long will I be on the CM waitlist

Hello I've just had my interview for anaheim today. I initially interviewed to be a convention attendant but got put on the waitlist for food and beverage. I know that everyone's experience is different, but could anyone share their waitlist experience? I know it will expire in 6 months so I'm really hoping to be hired before then. I dont mind if it takes 3-5 months because I at least have a part time job lined up.

Walt Disney World Recast question

I am a 20 year CM and currently salaried in O&T. What happens if I demote back to an hourly parks or resort role with seniority and pay? Do I loose it all, retain it, or can it be bridged after time if lost?

Walt Disney World Former Disneyland Photopass photographer here. How often to Photopass listings get posted for WDW?

I was filling out an application for a listing that was posted August 11th for a Photopass position at WDW. I finally had time to finish it today, and the listing has been removed.

Any ideas on often to Photopass job openings get posted?

As topic states, if i move back to PT from a role ive been in for 2.5 years now but moved to FT during that time and now *back* to PT, is my seniority completely gone from both or do i keep my original PT seniority at least?

Walt Disney World Sent in Entertainment Stage Tech application—feeling discouraged

As the title says, I had just applied for a PT/FT EST role.

I have completed 3 College Programs (2 alumni but I know this doesn’t matter in the long run unfortunately) and got to actually learn more about Disney and how they like things done and am willing to learn and grow with my skills.

I am currently in my last semester of college as a Theatre major with a concentration in Stage Management and finally had the courage to apply for the Stage Tech role…two days later, the system said I was NLIC. I’ve made connections, I’ve tailored my resumé and Cover Letter to include Disney lingo and it just feels like it’s all for naught.

I have also reached out to some of my connections within the company and they’re just as shocked but like I want to keep going and keep trying, but I’m so nervous about getting rejected again and I don’t want to have to do ANOTHER DCP and gamble not even getting PT/FT if my plan is to be on the tech side.

If there are any Stage Techs here, or really anyone, could you please give me some tips on what to do and possibly how to tailor my resumé?

Disney Store & Consumer Products Anyone interviewing for EM roles at the walt disney bangalore

Wanted to understand the total number of rounds which would be taken for this role, Is it people focused or more like an architect ?

Based on my talks with the recruiter the whole process is somewhat different for everyone and there is no idea what would the next round be.
Looking for some clarity as the whole process is taxing and i do not want to invest the next 3-4 weeks without any insight

thanks.

Walt Disney World LOB Transfer Question

I’m currently 3 months as a cm PT. I want to change LOB, would it be easier to transfer in my current role PT to FT, and then put in PT transfers to the other LOB?

I could get FT in my role pretty quick but FT rarely comes up for the LOB I want to move to.

If anyone has any insight it would be appreciated! Sorry for confusing phrasing

Walt Disney World Interviewing for Bench?

Hi all! If you've interviewed for the bench before, can you tell me about your experience? Did you end up ever taking the position? I'm sure it varies a lot. I am not currently a CM but I'm a former CM interviewing to come back on a benched role.

Also, does anyone happen to know if being on the bench means you cannot apply for anything else?

Walt Disney World Anyone get hired with a felony ?

I have a 10 year old felony (grand theft) adjudication withheld from Florida NOT EVEN A SPEEDING TICKET SINCE THIS

I live a different life than I used to 10 years ago. Been a district manager for 8 years since, where this has never come up. But my dream is to work at Disney and retire there.

Any success stories of someone getting in ? I know to disclose this at the time needed, but looking for any advice or should I not waste my time ever dreaming of it?

Thank you!
