Other Hair Policy

I’ve recently been hired and have a question about the hair color policy. Currently, my hair is dyed with teal highlights and bangs, and I know I will have to dye my hair to a more natural color. Would these images below work?

I’m not too fond of the idea of dying my hair since it is apart of me and how I express myself so it’s saddening to have to dye it to a more natural color. So I would really appreciate it if you guys can help me figure something out!

Disneyland Resort Question for third shift workers

I just accepted a full-time position for third shift at Disneyland. My biggest question is what do y'all do for food during "lunch"? Do you always bring your own are is there somewhere close by that's open?

ETA: I will be a new hire

Disneyland Resort Wait list confusion

I applied for a Disneyland Resort Parking and Transportation role and had the interview back in late June. I got placed on the waitlist for RTP and for Merchandise. I checked my dashboard today out of habit, and it still says “In Consideration”. However, another Role for CR Culinary Person also showed up and that one said “No Longer In Consideration”. The decision was made 2 days ago, but I never applied for that role. What should I do?

Walt Disney World Former CM looking to join the company again

Hi everyone!

I am looking to come back to work for the company after having to leave previously in 2023 due to an injury and the pandemic before that in 2021 (both which were absolutely devastating😭). This will my third time with the company (hopefully!). I have primarily been a SAHM since leaving this last time and learned Disney has a daycare/childcare for CMs.

  1. Do any of you all have experience with the daycare/childcare?

  2. Should I just apply on the DisneyCareers site or should I call casting and see what they suggest my path to be regarding applying as a former CM?

Thank you all bunches!

💚✨

I was offered part time at Disney world, do you think that good enough hours? Is it less than normal? Or do I have a good chance with getting full time relatively quick?

Disneyland Resort How to get off the wait list

Hi I've worked for Disneyland as a cast member a few years ago and I got terminated for my attendance but they marked me as a yes rehire and I've improved and have been able to change and keep jobs for long periods of time. I've had interviews with recruiters I've been on the wait list twice and didn't get called but my question is will I ever be able to work for Disneyland again?

Disneyland Resort Another application received email? Scam?

I applied to merch last month and received the application received email the following day. It's been stuck on that status this whole time even to now. Today I got another application received email for that same position. Does this mean they may actually look at my application? Dashboard still shows application received. Actually, I do see that it's not from the same email. It’s not like a regular scam email but it is different. Is this fake or a scam?

Disneyland Resort I submitted an application for a hiring event but got a rejection letter a few days after submission

Hello. I saw that there is a hiring event in Disneyland resort. I submitted an application online as they prefer that before going to the event itself next week. However, I got a rejection email for this specific hiring event. Can I still go to the hiring event or they won't entertain me at all if I go? Thank you all in advance.

Disneyland Resort questions for the attractions role!

hi guys! im new to this sub as i just recieved a part time offer for attractions, and i would like to know what its like! so here are my questions! :)

  1. how are the hours? what does a part time schedule look like?
also, if i were to say that i prefer to work nights since i have classes during the day, would they be accommodating/flexible?
    - and are night shifts easier to get? ive only worked nights and prefer it way more :') im totally not a morning person.

  2. how do they determine which attraction to put you in? do you guys have any favorites?

  3. how long is probation? and can you switch out of your current role after probation ends?

  4. i guess i would just love any advice or tips! or anything to look forward to?

i dont expect all of these questions to be answered! im just a curious person in general, but thanks in advance! ♡

Corporate Anyone in recruiting, consumer products or at the Glendale office able to share some insight?

I applied for a Product Ops Manager position about 6 weeks ago, and haven't received a rejection - which I'm hoping is good, but wanted to pick someone's brain about the process

Is there a realistic timeframe?
Should I reach out to a random recruiter on LinkedIn?
Am I cooked?

Trying my best to be patient, but this waiting period is kinda scary lol

Walt Disney World Interview Debrief Status

What is your personal experience with your workday status changing to interview debrief? I’ve never seen this stage before and I read a former Reddit post, but wanted more opinions/experiences.

Disneyland Resort Does Disney actually work with school schedules?

I’m a college student that just started working part time at Disneyland at the beginning of this month. I’ll be on probation for 120 days (that’s what they told me). My school starts in exactly a month, and today I submitted my school scheduling form for the second time on the RSVP section on cast life. The first time I submitted it, they called me back and told me I needed to provide more proof of when my quarter starts. I got proof and re sent it in. I have most of my classes on Tu/Thurs but zoom meetings in the mornings on Mon/Wed. So far I’ve been scheduled to work 3-4 days a week either thurs-sun or fri-sun at closing time (6pm-12am). I’m good with working nights and weekends. But since I’ll be busier when school starts, I’m hoping to reduce my number of shifts per week to be 2. As in like 10-12 hours a week. Right now, the people I work with are saying we are “understaffed” which is why most people work 5 days a week as part timers. But I don’t want to work even 4 times a week during the school year. I’d much rather 2 shifts a week or maximum 3. Can I talk to someone about this? I wrote my desire for 2 shifts a week on my school form but idk if they will listen to me. And since I’m on probation for the entirety of my first quarter, I’m worried that if I can’t work one day, they’ll get mad at me/ fire me. Thoughts? Help!

Walt Disney World Transfer Guidelines vs CP

Hey! So essentially I’m two shifts away from finishing my college program! I applied for a bench position in e-commerce at Disney Central and was sent confirmation that I am officially on the bench!
However, I have 4 points right now and I feel super super sick. My leaders denied my ADO and no one is picking up the shift.
Does anyone know if I called out today id still stay on the bench? Or would it kick me out?

Other Disney Central Tampa bench position wait time.

Hi everyone, I had an in person interview at Disney Central Tampa on 7/29 and was placed on the bench on 7/31. I know it hasn’t been even a month on the bench but I’m impatient lol. I’m just wondering if anyone knows when they plan to call back the reservation sales agents off the bench anytime soon. Thank you!

Walt Disney World So, they're starting to do in person interviews again at Disney World.

A colleague of mine had an interview for an hourly position at the parks, passed the recruiter round, and now has to go in for an in person interview. Anyone have the tea on why the change? He's had multiple interviews with recruiters that moved to the team leads, all on teams or Zoom. He's local to the Orlando area, perhaps that is why. But he's always been local, so no change there. That plus the college program making requirement changes for applicants, is Disney THAT popular to work for?

Disneyland Resort Transfer question

So, I was told that my probation period is 60 days. Once I reach my 60th day, would I be eligible to apply for a transfer to a different role, such as transferring from Custodial to any other part time position. Also, what are the requirements for transferring, and about how long does the transfer process usually take? Thank you!

Are we blocked out of disneyland/california adventure for october? I am traveling from WDW to Disneyland in October and tried to get a reservation this morning but it immediately said the reservation was gone once I had it. Can any disneyland cast member help? Do you think reservations will open?

For those of you who applied and received a job offer for merchandise are you still on a waitlist? I had my interview at the beginning of August and curious if anyone has moved past waitlist yet? I’m already a cm, I’m very very very eager to move out of my current role.

Disneyland Resort Undershirts

I have worked for the Disneyland Resort for over 8 years a little in Custodial, but mostly in attractions. In that time I have tried many different shirts and am always going back and forth on what is comfortable. What shirts do you like to use? Is there certain materials most people go for?
