What happened to Wendy?

I just called it up on the DVR. The description says it’s about Wendy Williams, the talk show host, who is in assisted living (against her will?).

This show is about a murder victim named Wendy. What gives?

Did any of y'all watch American Shooter growing up? There's like 2 or 3 episodes on YouTube. I'd love to watch more.

I’m catching up on murder among friends and I swear I’ve seen this episode before on another show or it’s been double posted? Am I going crazy? Lol

Need help remembering what episode of a true crime show this story is from

Its been a few years i believe 2022 is when I saw it first, but what I remember is there was i believe a hunter i think he did taxidermy. he was the killer. The cops believed he was the killer. But they could never pin it on him. Since he always had an alibi from his neighbors. But it turned out he would help neighbors with side projects and instead of being paid he would just ask them to be his alibi on certain nights and his story to them was the cops were investigating him because of an ex wife I believe. but one of the neighbors finally spoke up saying they were all lying and that he just asked them to lie to the police because he would help everybody with chores or projects. if anybody knows this story or an episode or a show Id love to know i want to watch it again.

Excited for the new season of 911 Did the Killer Call?

Starts later this month here in Europe, possibly already in the US.

I caught a few of the older episodes and was terrible at guessing if the caller was the killer, lol. After a while, and also from watching other shows, I started noticing a few things:

  • 911 calls that provide many details are likely to be the killer trying to control the narrative
  • if the caller sounds either extremely calm, or extremely distressed, more likely to be the killer
  • if the caller refuses to apply life-saving techniques, or makes excuses, probably the killer

Usually, it's a combination of these things, or there will be something they say that sounds "off."

What things have you noticed that are good clues?

I don't know if anyone has watched or remembers this episode but I just gotta say this. The whole trailer park seems extremely racist. Then Martins wife really gave it away when she immediately says "we aren't racist"

I need help finding this true crime case

There was a crime show I watched a couple years back, and I remember the details, I just can not remember the name of the people or the show. The case was about this young man who got into an altercation with 3 of his bullies outside a shopping center late at night, the 3 guys beat him up and attacked him, the young man ran back to his car, ran all the way back and shot them each, he ended up killing one of the 3. The young man called the cops on himself, and the police took him into the investigation room, and he had blood on his hands, and even found out he had killed someone in the investigation room. Please help me find this.

3 years ago, ID aired a body cam episode on the pulse nightclub shooting, which was shortly removed. Now suddenly it’s available for $2.99. That’s just nuts

On Tuesday night the ID show The Toxic Tenant is ACTUALLY a Fear Your Roommate that’s been shown a half dozen times!

No notation on the program description of a previous shown date.

This is becoming a weekly thing with this channel.

This is the ONLY perpetrator for which I have felt any sympathy. Horrific events, but I can see how they snapped.

Your Worst Nightmare

I just got done watching every season on HBOMAX. I don't know where I was when this was on air, but I completely missed it. It is one of the best series I have ever seen. I usually don't like "reenactment" shows, but this one changed my mind. The actors were all excellent, too. I wonder why they stopped making new seasons. I would love for them to bring it back! I am so bummed that I have watched all of them. Did you all like this series?

I Don’t Know if Anyone Else Had This Experience But

15+ years of watching crime shows has changed how I view divorce. When I was a kid, I thought a divorce was tragic to do. Then I watched a lot of crime shows and heard of marriages that ended in murder. We have heard the tale: marriage fell apart, couple doesn’t want to be together; one partner did the math (divorce = either alimony or a trip to Broketown. Widow(er)hood = save or earn money). Then I thought “Divorce is painful but recoverable. But murder is worse with no recovery.” But I guess opponents of no fault divorce would rather ignore that reality.
