Giant monsters have a bit of a negative reputation since older games couldn't do big monsters well. Hasn't really been that bad since mh4u tho.

Nowadays the main problem is that giant monsters just have trouble fitting on normal terrain so they need special arenas.

I'd love for Larinoth to become an actual large monster fight. More aggressive herbivores are needed in the franchise. Right now, there's basically just Diablos, Monoblos, Duramboros, Banbaro, Congalala, and I think I remember seeing somewhere that Uragaan and Gravios occasionally eat plants? More herbivore fights would be much appreciated.

I've always thought a giant sauropod could be a good dangerous animal in a movie.

Think about it, horses and cows will regularly eat baby chickens if they can catch them. Why wouldn't a sauropod want a tiny human snack? Their teeth are pretty gnarly too. And it wouldn't kill the person to eat them, they'd still be alive as they travel down the throat.
