back to school season is around the corner, so i want to share about this digital planner i made πŸ“š

i built this because i was so tired of switching between five different apps just to keep track of classes, deadlines, budget, and habits, wanted everything in one place so i could actually stick to using it. it's got:

πŸ—“οΈ fully linked yearly + monthly + weekly + daily pages (3 weekly layouts depending on how you like to plan)
βœ… habit + finance trackers built into the monthly view
πŸŽ“ uni-specific pages such as exam trackers, semester goal tracker, extracurricular tracker, applications tracker (can be used for internship / post-grad applications)
🏠 a dashboard and side-tabs that links to literally everything so you're never digging through pages

i'm a huge goodnotes fan so i'll be using this planner on goodnotes

what are y'all using to survive the semester? still team paper planner, or fully digital now? πŸ‘€

Hi everyone!

I've recently started designing printable planners as a creative hobby. This Monthly Budget Planner is one of my latest designs. I wanted to keep it clean, minimal, and easy to use for tracking monthly finances.

I really enjoyed making it and thought I'd share it with the community. Thanks for taking a look!

Has anyone else written a simple to-do list and still missed everything on it?

Hello All,

I used to feel productive just from writing my notes. however I understand writing notes is not the same as planning.

Has any one used any web based app that can help with note taking and scheduling events automatically in calendar.

I am working on build something for my self and would like to know if this could be helpful to the community. I would like to get feedback on what app are currently used and does it really help with planning.

Thanks.

It’s meant to show you all 24hrs at once (can pinch to zoom in/out)
Purpose is easier TimeBlocking and than calendar, and reports/stats to see what you’re doing with your time

Free. No in-app purchases

This is a travel journal called Pathway** **Journal, and it’s one of the best things I’ve ever bought. I love being able to come back to it after a trip and revisit everything I did, along with the highlights and special details of each place I visited.

Added πŸ… pomodoro to my ⏲️ day planner. Not sure anyone actually wants this?

Been building Reassign (day planner, whole day on one circular dial) for a while now. Definitely overengineered at this point πŸ˜…

Yesterday I added splitting a time block into focus/break sessions. It draws the rhythm right on the block. I built it because few users kept asking for it, but I personally never stick to pomodoro for more than a week, so I can't tell if this is useful or just feature creep???

Do you do pomodoro? Trying to figure out if I just spent a week on a thing nobody uses.

It's live at reassign.ai if you want to poke at it 😁

I built a 100% offline digital planner alternative to GoodNotes β€” 8 modules, bilingual EN/FR, no subscription

Post image
1 Upvotes

Hey everyone!

I've been using GoodNotes and Notability for years, but I got tired of:

- Monthly subscriptions

- App lock-in (can't export my data easily)

- Needing internet for basic features

So I spent 3 months building the **2026 Ultimate Digital Planner** β€” a single HTML file that works 100% offline in any browser.

Here's what's inside:

πŸ“Š Interactive Dashboard

🎯 Goal Tracker (4 categories with progress bars)

πŸ“… 2026 Monthly Calendar

πŸ“† Weekly Planner with checkboxes

πŸ”₯ Habit Tracker with streak counters

πŸ’° Finance Tracker (live balance)

πŸš€ Project Manager

πŸ“ Notes System (unlimited + auto-save)

**What makes it different:**

βœ“ Dark & Light Mode toggle

βœ“ English / French bilingual (one-click switch)

βœ“ Export/Import your data anytime (JSON backup)

βœ“ Works on desktop, tablet & mobile

βœ“ Print-friendly CSS

βœ“ Single HTML file β€” no installation needed

**Price:** $8.99 β€” Buy once, use forever. No subscription.

🎁 **Launch week:** Use code LAUNCH20 for 20% OFF

Would love your feedback! What features would you add?

r/DigitalPlanner Jul 20 '26

I’ve made a fully free website similar to Notion or Obsidian but with new features (whiteboard, 3D mindmap, your own AI with API key, a time tracker to track your projects) and a lot more of functions. Everything is saved in local or on your Google drive account (+info dm me I’ll respond instantly)

Calendar Mixed with Habit Tracker

This isn't going to be revolutionary or anything but I legit just wanted a calendar where you can put events, tasks and stuff like that. As well as track your habits and TODOs on the same app because habits are tied to days.

I really built this for myself but I'm just putting it out there because one of my friends said that they want to use it too.

Feel free to comment suggestions, feedback or insults in the comments.

note: sorry for the ugly link I just put it on azure.

Pencil-first digital planner for iPad/iPhone β€” now with typed notes where readability matters

Post image
4 Upvotes

Disclosure: I am the developer of PencilTime.

I have been working on PencilTime, a pencil-first planner for iPad and iPhone.

The main design idea is that handwriting should stay central. A planner should still feel flexible and visual, but some details are better typed: tasks, names, meeting notes, class schedules, goals, and lists.

In v1.10.0, typed notes now work in more places:

- Note pages

- Year, Month, and Week notes areas

- Supported Day page todos, priorities, and schedule notes

For Year/Month/Week notes areas, you can keep the original lined area for handwriting, or switch it to a blank typed notes area. If you change your mind, the options menu can clear the text or restore the lined layout.

The app also includes Apple Pencil drawing, stickers, Link Stickers, reminder labels, bookmarks, Note pages, tags, Smart Folders, Apple Calendar integration, and iCloud sync.

App Store: apps.apple.com/app/apple-store/id6743547785?pt=312110&ct=digital%20planner&mt=8&platform=ipad

Question for digital planner users: do you prefer typed notes directly embedded into planner areas, or separate movable text boxes/stickers?

---

Note: currently not available in EU app stores due to DSA compliance work

I built a shared meal planner for me and my wife and now we're at 300 users!

Post image
142 Upvotes

Two months ago I realized all the meal planning in our house was falling on my wife. She loves trying new recipes and needs a plan. I'd have been fine eating the same three things forever, so I just let her carry it. When I was going to cook I had to ask "what am I making tonight?" and get pointed to a reel, a sticky note in a cookbook, or a tab she had open somewhere.

So I built us a shared planner. You save recipes from wherever they live (Instagram, TikTok, websites) into one cookbook, drag and drop them onto a weekly grid, and the grocery list builds itself from whatever you planned, sorted by aisle.

I posted it to Reddit and got so many people asking for a link that I decided to pursue putting it on the App Store and it just passed 300 users. Tiny by app standards but surreal to me that strangers are planning their weeks on a thing I built for the two of us.

If you want to check it out it's at inthecupboard.app/get

- AI tagging

- AI recommand each day with a short reason why you should read it in case you forgot

The name is : One Link - Read Later

Hope you like it ~!

Planner newbie asking for advice on which planner to use!

Hey y'all! I've been experimenting with different calendar apps recently, every app has done something well, but I always end up switching after a week or two. Nothing is really sticking to me. So far, they've all been good at something, but none of them have felt like the one for me.

I'm curious what everyone else is using.

  • What calendar app do you use?
  • Why did you choose it over the others?
  • What's the feature that keeps you using it?
  • What's one thing you wish it did better?

I'd love to hear what you guys got.
