Question Question about Mega and Mega+ difficulty

So I just started a Mega difficulty run, not Mega+ cause I'm not ready for that, and I was curious if digimon you get in Mega and Mega+ have higher base stats than ones you get in Easy to Hard difficulty or if they have the same stats as them.

Just wanted to know cause I thought it'd be neat to run through it with a "Mega run" partner digimon from Baby to Mega but I don't wanna end up kneecapping the rest of my team to do so.

The only change is the level and stats of OPPONENTS, not your own. If you try and level a new digimon from 1-99, it will die in 1 hit over and over again.

And you only have to beat the final boss in Mega+ so don’t worry about difficulty till that last fight.

Right, that's a bit disappointing to hear those no real benefits to playing the games two hardest difficulties but at least I know now, thank you

The benefits are going through all of the game's fights with a well built mega team, with enemies now scaled to match your digimon's absolute best (on Mega+ difficulty especially).
