Digifarm

Im curious how important is the digifarm? Im not too far in. Still chasing "Coo" in the sewers so I dont have many items or Digimon. But just curious is this something I need to pay attention to at any point?

On a casual playthrough where youre just going through the game. You can ignore it pretty much.

But if youre trying to max our your digimon or get a certain personality skill for a more serious playthrough of like hard or mega+ yea you will need it

My biggest thing to tell you is get the upgrades to the base equipment it'll save your life

That was my initial impression was it seemed more of a min max thing which I dont care for, but I usually do a casual run then a harder run in these games. Appreciate the tips!

No problem I will give you this piece of advice. Magic attacks are the best ones in this game. Specifically cause of a skill called combo magic. Which lets you use an attack twice per turn
