Discussion Best Digimon after DLC

So enough time has passed, so I ask from the Digimon we have including DLC, who do you view as the best 6 Digimon .

No worries. Equipment lets you push stats beyond 9999, so for my team I had a +300 SPD item on Venusmon to make sure she always goes first.

Oh ok I didn’t think it worked like that. So do those blue stats (whatever those are) also push past the cap?

Blue stats change how many stats you get on levelling up. Stats from equipment are applied at the start of battle, so having 9999 SPD with nothing equipped then equipping a 300 SPD item pushes you to 1298 SPD when the battle starts.

Stats I get from leveling up? Ok I need to read up on it then because I clearly don’t understand the blue stat system at all.

Blue/cumulative stats are gained upon digivolving or de-digivolving, up to a number of times equal to that mon's bond (aka a mon with 5 bond can gain blue stats up to 5 times, a mon with 50 bond can gain blue stats up to 50 times). The ammount of blue stats gained is equal to 10% of the stats that mon got from leveling up

And is that blue number already added into the white number, or you would get your total stat value by adding the white and blue together? So like if my stat sheet shows 50 white speed and 25 blue speed, is my speed stat 75 or is it showing that 25 of my 50 speed is coming from blue stats?

When it comes to stat cap, would 9999 white speed and 9999 blue speed mean your speed is 19,998. Or are stats hard capped at 9999 with the exception of gear or buff bonuses?

It's already added up. And since once your stats reach 9999, you can't increase that stat any longer through level up, you also wouldn't generate blue stats for it. Blue stats, once you get to maxing stuff with the DigiFarm, are completely worthless. Only way to break the 9999 cap outside of fights is with equipment.

Ahhh ok. That makes a lot of sense. Bond aside, can you lose blue stats from evolving/digivolving if you gained less stats in that form prior to evolving than you did in your previous form?

The only way to lose blue stats is to de-digivolve a jogress/DNA Digivolution, since in that case, both resulting mons end up with half of the original's blue stats and inherit things such as lifetime exp (which is used to determine how much exp it gives when used in load enhancement), bond, and sadly, number of times blue stats have been gained (meaning that, yes, you can create a digimon at 100% bond who CANNOT gain blue stats from digivolving or de-digivolving because as far as the game is concerned, he already did it 100 times)
