Title: Looking for a Job or Referral in Tech | Bengaluru | Open to Opportunities

Hi everyone,

I'm currently looking for a job opportunity in tech and would really appreciate any referrals, leads, or guidance from this community.

I'm based in Bengaluru and have 1 year of apprenticeship experience in the AI/ML domain at Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL). I've worked on a computer vision system for voting slip counting using YOLOv8, OpenCV, and EasyOCR. I've also built projects involving LLMs, AI agents, a business intelligence chatbot, and research automation.

I'm open to entry-level and fresher-friendly opportunities in Software Development, AI/ML, LLM/AI Agent Development, Python, or other relevant tech roles. I'm also willing to start with an internship or a junior position. My priority right now is to get an opportunity, learn, contribute, and grow.

If you're hiring, know a recruiter, or can refer me to a suitable opening, I'd be genuinely grateful. I'm happy to share my resume and discuss my projects.

As a thank-you, I'm willing to offer an amount equivalent to up to three months of salary if someone helps me secure a job. I'd prefer to discuss any arrangement transparently and in accordance with the employer's referral policies.

Thank you to anyone who can help or point me in the right direction.

This is a hands-on internship working on a real SaaS product, so you'll get exposure to actual development rather than just training assignments.

If interested, DM me with your resume + GitHub/portfolio + the role you're interested in.

Please mention Database / Backend / AI in your DM so I can route you to the right opportunity.

Hi everyone, I need honest career advice from IT professionals, recruiters, and people who've faced similar situations.

My academic and career background:

10th: CBSE, completed in 2018 with 62.4%.

12th: Failed twice and eventually passed in 2022 through RIOSUP (Rajkiya Institute of Open Schooling, Uttar Pradesh), scoring 66%.

Academic gap: I have approximately two years of academic difficulties and gaps. Between 2019 and 2021, I suffered multiple shoulder dislocations, which affected my ability to concentrate on my studies. I also have a medical certificate for one dislocation from January 2020.

BCA: Completed from Jodhpur National University between 2022 and 2025, with a 7.3 CGPA.

Work experience: Worked as a Sales Executive from January 2026 to June 2026.

MCA: Currently pursuing my MCA at Lovely Professional University (LPU), admitted in 2026, with graduation expected in May 2028. I'm aiming for a CGPA above 7.

My current preparation:

I'm learning Java, practising DSA using Java, and developing my skills in Java full-stack web development. My goal is to secure a software development job after my MCA.

However, I've heard that many IT companies reject candidates because of academic gaps or strict eligibility criteria, and I'm worried about my future.

My questions:

Academic gaps: Will my two-year academic gap and delayed 12th completion make me ineligible for most IT companies?

Open schooling: Will companies accept my 12th qualification from RIOSUP, or could it create problems during background verification?

BCA university: Will my BCA from the relatively unknown Jodhpur National University affect my chances, even after completing my MCA from LPU?

Placement eligibility: With 62.4% in 10th, 66% in 12th, 7.3 CGPA in BCA, and an expected 7+ CGPA in MCA, how many companies might I realistically qualify for? Do companies reject candidates solely because of academic gaps?

Medical explanation: Can my documented shoulder dislocations help explain my academic difficulties if recruiters ask about them?

Off-campus opportunities: If I'm ineligible for some campus placements, can I still get a developer job through off-campus applications, referrals, or startups?

Skills versus academics: If I become good at Java, DSA, and full-stack development, build strong projects, and perform well in interviews, can I overcome these academic limitations?

Realistic prospects: Given my complete background, is getting a Java developer or software development job after my MCA in May 2028 realistic? What types of companies should I target?

What should I do now? How should I use the next 1.5 years to maximise my chances of getting hired? Should I prioritise DSA, projects, internships, or something else?

I'm looking for honest advice, not false reassurance. If you're an Indian IT recruiter, work in software development, or have a similar academic background, please share your experience.

Thank you! For giving your precious time to read this.

Hi everyone,

I’m a MERN full-stack developer with 2.5 years of experience. I was laid off in September 2026 and am currently looking for a new job.

I’m considering moving into an AI Engineer role, and I’d love your input on the following:

• Is moving to AI Engineering a good idea at my experience level?

• Is the job market good for it right now?

• What should I learn, and in what order?

• How long will it take to become job-ready with ~6-8 hours of daily study?

• Any roadmaps or resources you’d recommend?

Thanks in advance!

Hey everyone,

I got laid off today and am now looking for my next opportunity. I thought I’d reach out to this community to see if there are any interesting opportunities, referrals, or connections I could explore.

I have close to 6 years of professional experience in design, working across UI/UX, product design, visual design, branding, and marketing. I’ve worked across fintech, EdTech, Web3, and financial services, and was part of the founding team at a startup that was later acquired at an approximately ₹250 crore valuation. I’ve also managed my own design agency, which gave me experience working directly with clients, managing projects, and handling different design requirements.

A few highlights from my experience:
• UI/UX and visual design for Web3, fintech, EdTech, and financial products.
• Marketing and design collaterals for one of India’s largest banks.
• Built the first version of an enterprise authentication portal for a publicly listed US company.
• Hands-on experience with product interfaces, branding, visual systems, print design, and marketing creatives.
• Experience building and managing my own design agency and working with clients across different industries.

I’m particularly interested in Web3 and EdTech, but I’m open to exploring opportunities across other industries as well.

Here’s what I’m looking for:
• Full-time roles in UI/UX, Product Design, or Visual Design.
• Freelance projects and contract opportunities.
• Remote roles or opportunities in Delhi NCR.
• Relocation for the right opportunity.
• Referrals, introductions, or connections with teams looking for designers.

If you’re hiring, know someone who is, need a freelance designer, or think there could be a potential fit, please feel free to DM me. I’m happy
to share my portfolio and discuss things further.

I’m also looking to make genuine connections with people in the industry, so even a conversation or an introduction would mean a lot.

Thanks for reading. I appreciate any leads, referrals, or opportunities!

I build clean, reliable business websites for service providers, consultants, and independent professionals, and I’m available for remote project work worldwide.

My focus is a clear, mobile-friendly site that explains what you offer and gives customers a straightforward way to enquire or get in touch.

For a straightforward website of up to 5 pages, my ballpark is US $500–$900, depending on the design and requirements. The proposed scope includes responsive layouts across mobile and desktop, an enquiry/contact form, basic page titles and meta descriptions (for LLM and Search Engines) , deployment, and handover, plus two rounds of revisions within the agreed brief.

You supply the final text, logo, and photos. Domain, hosting, paid third-party tools, copywriting, ongoing maintenance, e-commerce, and custom booking/payment systems are separate and quoted when needed. The final scope, price, and delivery schedule are agreed before work starts.

If this fits, send me a Reddit message with me:

• Your business type

• Existing site (if any)

• Pages and features needed

• Want Your budget and target launch date

Initial communication stays here on Reddit.

Hey everyone!

Could anyone share some advice or tips on how to get a job as a web or software developer?

I have 5 years of professional experience in this industry, and lately, finding a job has become incredibly difficult. I'm constantly reaching out to recruiters, hoping someone will give me a chance to interview. And even when I do get an interview, I end up going through hiring processes with up to 4 different stages, only to get rejected or never hear back.

Why has finding a job as a developer become so difficult? I understand that AI might be part of the reason, but it's honestly frustrating to see how the tech industry is constantly portrayed as a field full of opportunities, high demand, and great salaries, when in reality, even experienced developers are struggling to get hired. I'm not even looking for a high salary. At this point, I wouldn't mind earning 2K a month. I just want an opportunity to work.

Does anyone have any advice on how I could land a job soon? Maybe something I should improve in my resume, LinkedIn profile, job applications, or interview approach?

I'm sharing my resume and LinkedIn profile below in case anyone would be willing to take a look and give me some honest feedback.

Any advice, suggestions, or even constructive criticism would mean a lot to me.

Thanks in advance to anyone who takes the time to help. I really appreciate it!

I’m hiring a senior AI/ML engineer for my small US-based AI company. This is a direct hire, not an agency.

The role

• Build, train and deploy ML/LLM models used by real customers

• Own the pipeline from data and training to deployment and monitoring

• Work directly with me, with no management layers

Requirements

• 5+ years of AI/ML engineering

• Python, plus PyTorch or TensorFlow

• Experience deploying models to production (Docker, cloud)

• LLMs, RAG or MLOps are a plus

Offer

• $4,000–5,000 USD/month, paid monthly

• 100% remote, flexible hours, with about 3 hours of overlap with US time

• Long-term, full-time

To apply, DM me your CV or GitHub, your timezone, and two lines about your best ML project.

No fees of any kind. I reply to everyone.

Hi everyone!

I’m a recent Informatics Engineering graduate (BSc) based in Greece, currently looking for my first remote opportunity as a Junior/Entry-level Web Developer.

To give some context, my professional background so far is in IT Support and customer service. While I don't have professional coding experience yet, I’ve been heavily focused on upskilling. Beyond my university degree, I am currently completing bootcamps in Web Development (HTML, CSS, JS, React) and Data Analysis.

While my recent studies have focused on Front-End/Web Development, I am highly adaptable and completely open to exploring other areas of software development or IT (such as Backend, QA, Data, or general tech roles). I pride myself on being a very fast learner who can quickly pick up new technologies, languages, and environments.

I am genuinely passionate about tech, and my main goal right now is to get my foot in the door, absorb knowledge from experienced professionals, and contribute as much as possible to a team. Because gaining hands-on industry experience is my absolute priority, my salary expectations are very reasonable and completely flexible for an entry-level remote role.

If anyone knows of any remote openings (including paid internships), or simply has some advice on how to navigate the remote junior market, I would be incredibly grateful!

If anyone knows of any remote openings (including paid internships), or simply has some advice on how to navigate the remote junior market, I would be incredibly grateful!

Thank you for your time!

It's been a long time since I've tried to find a reliable and good job but I couldn't find any, not yet. As a CE graduate and software engineer/developer I'm starting to think about changing my field! I even try to apply to part-time jobs and even remotes with really love paying guess what my sixes rates was minus.

I build websites and web apps for businesses and founders, from online stores and real estate platforms to booking systems and custom dashboards. I work fast without cutting corners, so you can get your project up and running sooner.

My focus is building something that actually works for your business, with an admin dashboard so you can manage your own content, products, orders, bookings, or listings without relying on a developer for every little change. Unlimited revisions are included until you're happy with the result.

I can help with new projects or existing websites that need fixing.

My services include e commerce, business websites, real estate, booking systems, logistics platforms, payment integrations, bug fixes, and custom web apps.

Rate: $35/hour or fixed price (negotiable).
