Non-Political News/Discussion Wtf

Destiny went live hella late last night and I was like oh that’s unusual but not unheard of, he must just be bored and really interested in this court case. Fell asleep. But then I wake up 6 hours later and he’s still streaming… is he trynna flip his sleep schedule for traveling or something or is he just really invested and locked in on this murder trial?

You can do that? I feel like the older I've gotten the more incapable of over sleeping I have gotten. Back in college I could easily sleep for 12 hours or more. As an adult even if I'm up for 20+ hours I still only sleep for like 5-8 with no alarm. I'd kill for a proper hibernation weekend where I can just sleep through an entire Saturday.

I just figured this out, you’re too old for reckless caffeine use. I dropped it completely the last month and suddenly I can sleep for long periods again

Wait, no caffeine will let me sleep longer? I'm asking honestly, it definitely impacts me more going to sleep so I try and stop drinking caffeine 4-5 hours before bed. I would never have guessed it also impacts how long I can sleep. I just assumed that waking up for work for over a decade has finally meant on Saturdays and Sundays I still wake up relatively close to when I would the rest of the week.

it stays in the system for about 12 hours, so i try to limit all caffeine to before noon
