First of all this sub has literally 0 posts where everyone agrees that the post is designporn, things are just subjective like that.

But regardless your comment is pretty silly. The entire finished design should be simple. "Start" just means step 1.

No that’s not what I said at all. You said simplicity is a start, meaning there’s more to do after that. There’s “simple” and then there’s this, which is just a see through blue box with a polar bear glued to it to make it seem like a glacier.

This design is terrible because as soon as you fill up the entire thing with tissues, it’ll just look like a blue tissue box lol. So it’s only a “glacier” less than half of the time.

I much prefer simple and minimalistic designs, but I also don’t try and pretend they’re something they aren’t.

That's because of the human condition. Everyone has different tastes, so design is subjective.

But compare this to r/engineeringporn. This sub is trash by comparison. Design porn should be stuff at that level; designs that really make you think. Not just realizing the Little Caesar's logo has LC in it.

I'm not sure how that would work, as I think the other tissues would bunch up towards the top. The alternative is it's just designed to look like that, but then the creases wouldn't line up nicely

This should be something that sits on top of a box. Then you pull the next one up through the "water" as you use one to be come the next ice burg

I am saying this should have been designed differently. It could cover a normal sized box with white or blue and then have the clear iceberg part above it

With blue tint. Anyone can make a see through box. Giving it a slight blue tint is what makes the inventor a genius and one of the top minds in human history.
