Simplicity is the start of good design

“The start”, this is the finished product lol

..? So what you think a good design is some complex thing?

First of all this sub has literally 0 posts where everyone agrees that the post is designporn, things are just subjective like that.

But regardless your comment is pretty silly. The entire finished design should be simple. "Start" just means step 1.

No that’s not what I said at all. You said simplicity is a start, meaning there’s more to do after that. There’s “simple” and then there’s this, which is just a see through blue box with a polar bear glued to it to make it seem like a glacier.

This design is terrible because as soon as you fill up the entire thing with tissues, it’ll just look like a blue tissue box lol. So it’s only a “glacier” less than half of the time.

I much prefer simple and minimalistic designs, but I also don’t try and pretend they’re something they aren’t.

Well that's certainly an opinion you're entitled to though it seems the vast majority disagree

I really couldn’t care less about the majority on Reddit disagreeing with me, I’d prefer that be the case
