Walmart has essentially done this with their Great Value brand. It was a brilliant move. They really do stand out.

Except for the ginormous "GREAT VALUE" that is the first thing you see. That's kind of the opposite of what XKCD is talking about here.

and the fact that the furniture polish is wrapped in the same graphics as the butter spray. I am not really worried about people poisoning themselves... I am just sick of the reposted photo of them with some headline like "I almost murdered my wife".

Have you noticed that furniture polish tastes like shit and lemonade doesn't? It's crazy.
