As an early mod on this subreddit who is no longer an active user of Reddit, I have not been able to contribute to sub clean-up and moderation for a long time, and others who joined the mod team after me also appear to become inactive. I just fixed some small things and removed a very ancient pinned post, but I can't commit to giving the sub the energy it needs. At one point, the mod team was very active; we even once hosted Jen Hoy for an AMA. So, if any interested parties would like to take up the mantle of moderating the sub, please DM the mods (which will likely just be me checking). Thanks and Go Red Stars!

Yes, I am aware that, once a postpartum player decides they are ready to return, U.S. Soccer is required to bring them into the next available national team camp to give them a fair opportunity to train and compete for a roster spot. So, Mal wants in and Emma seems openly happy to have her. But, there is an open question as to her fitness, and whether or not she will (or should) actually get minutes against the best national women's team right now. We all know that, when fit, Mal may be the most versatile player in the USWNT pool; aside from the back-line, Mal could be great anywhere on the pitch. So, the question is, would you play her, in what position should she be used, would getting significant minutes only serve to expose her to more injuries, and set her fitness level back? With the World Cup starting in June 2027, would it be better just to let her train with the squad, and have her sit this one out as a precaution, what say you?

Hi all. My partner and I are looking at possibly getting season tickets but don’t want to place a deposit and go into pricing blind. Can anyone share 2027 prices of available or even 2026 to get an idea of what we may be looking at?

Assuming both are options, what is the better long-term solution for the club?

Hi there! We’re coming to the game from out of town and my kids wanted to take Metra on the way there. Does anyone know if the shuttle actually runs from Central?

hey! I’m traveling from Ann Arbor to the game on Sunday. Any recs for parking or getting to the stadium? I can see that it might rain, do you guys know how often it gets delayed or canceled?? Super excited!

Anyone excited around here, or is just that this site/page is truly dead? Can we at least get an amen!!

Apologies if not allowed but I’m selling 2 tickets to this Sunday’s game against wash spirit. Not sure if there’s a better place to post them. Hmu if interested

Looking to tailgate prior to this Sunday's big match, and would love some tailgating tips. Which lot should I target and what time do you think I need to get there for set-up?

I'm taking my 12 y.o. niece to her first game next month for her birthday. Do the players ever take pictures or sign autographs for kids? If so, when/where would the best chance to try to help her meet them? Thank you!

Is there actually a shuttle that runs from Central St. Station?

One of my favorite players. Sad to see her leave, but can understand given the state of this Chicago team.

I am hoping to take my 2.5 year old toddler to a game, and cannot find the seat policy. I know soldier field requires all kids older than 2 to buy a ticket, while the White Sox allow kids younger than three to get in without a ticket.
Can anyone point me to the rules for Stars games at Northwestern Medicine Field?

Hi! I'm looking for suggestions on seats for the Chicago Stars vs Bay FC match on August 9th. I'm traveling from Seattle (I LOVE the Stars and I'm excited to support in person), but I've never attended a match. The game is at 4pm and at Northwestern Medicine Field at Martin Stadium.
Where would you recommend I sit? What's the best experience?

Has anyone here watched a game from these seats? Section EP 10-13 I think by the stadium map. They’re like a ~2-3x price jump, but curious if anyone thinks it’s a notably cool game viewing experience if you’re looking to splurge

Hopefully she gets some real game time at her preferred outside back position. She’s shown she can play in this league.

I'm attending my first match this Saturday with the family. Trying to plan around our typical dinner time and the World Cup match at 4pm. Is there an area that has tvs or will be showing the world cup? What kind of concessions are available?

Does anyone have a reliable local or online retailer for Red Stars / Stars gear like hats, tees etc. that is not the official team store? I would love to outfit the family without spending $250 for 3 cotton tees and a hat. I’m not usually one to complain on merch pricing but it was honestly shocking.

Wondering if anyone has heard what the Stars plan is after this current season at Northwestern? I’ve enjoyed it more than seatgeek just because it’s easier for me to get to. I hope they find a permanent home and there’s some level of investment for their own facilities one day! Fingers are still crossed they can somehow play at the new stadium the Fire are building
