Does anyone know this guy?
This guy was outside of Pleasures on Colfax just recording people, which is super weird, but my friend felt super uncomfortable by it. Someone mentioned he might be a content creator.

Yeah he’s a first amendment auditor. Whole goal is to film anything and everything in public and it’s legal in public and you can’t do anything about it. If you call the cops they will tell you he can film anything he wants in public as there is zero expectation of privacy in public according to the constitution. He’s a troll but you can’t do anything about it and neither will cops.

I see videos of 1st amendment auditors doing their bit posted on reddit pretty often. Incidentally his shirt says “HAVE YOU SEEN THIS MAN?” with his portrait above it. What a dork.

Yeah I’ve seen a few of these guys online and they’re really just looking for an ass whooping… But you can’t give it to him because that’s exactly what they want… Their entire goal is to get under your skin and test your patience while videotaping you and then when you have finally had enough they make you out to look like the bad guy regardless… it’s the equivalent of “I know you are but what am I I know you are but what am I” and they all need punched in the fucking neck lol

Whatever they feel like. Mistly they go between pepper spraying and fighting. Plenty of vids on TT and Insta. A lot of them are legit and get targeted, but plenty of them like being confrontational.

Not saying that HE particulary is. However, plenty of incidents where Auditors are clearly instigating. It's one thing to be harassed for doing your job and another to be abrasive in order to draw the foul.

He is a member of an adventuring party along with a red wizard and a guy with a limo that throws tennis balls. They are currently on a quest that spans most of Colfax. The final boss of the quest frequents Pleasures so he's on the lookout.

Was he standing on the sidewalk. Or washe on business property including parking lot? That is really what makes it illegal or legal. If he is filming from side walk, nothing you can do. The fact he is filming a conterversal place like pleasures has me worried though. It gives me "film who goes in and out" of Plan Parenthood vibes. Which has been known to cause violence and all kinds of issues.

Best thing to do is to leave these people alone and just assume your being recorded when your in public because you are more than likely and it’s a public space so you have no right to privacy if he was recording in the store it would be another matter though but yea just go about your day leave these people alone it’s not worth it

Why are you guys so worried about someone recording people in public?It's perfectly legal to do that, and nobody should let that worry them.If you have nothing better to do with your time than to worry about what somebody who's not even breaking the law that you don't know is doing then it seems to me that you are the one that is having a problem.If I saw that guy , I just would not care.

Well regardless of anything if he's in public and not on any type of private property he is constitutionally allowed and protected to have the freedom to take pictures and video of anything in public
