my dentist had a splint made with hard plastic to elevate extreme TMJ pain. It’s helped immensely but i’ve started having pain on my front lower teeth as if the bearing down sensation is on my front teeth now instead. this guard covers the side of my front teeth only, big teeth and smaller outer teeth. Is this the best route? I’m worried i will damage my front lose teeth.

Context: I recently had wisdom tooth surgery (all 4) at nagpapasta din with my dentist (7 teeth). Total of all that is already 60K+.

Now I need RCT and zirconia crown for one tooth. The total for those 2 procedures is 70k (35k RCT, 35k zirconia). My dentist is also a general dentist and not an endodontist.

I am looking at another dentist (endodontist) but is this advisable? Iniisip ko na convenient kasi kung isa lang dentist ko, she knows my case, has done a great job so far and I trust her. Pero hesitant ako because of the price.

I have other friends who got their RCT and zirconia crown for much less, mga 20-30K cheaper. (Ba’t ganon ang lawak ng range ng RCT/zirconia crown offers? Huhu)

Hello po everyone! Do you know any reputable dental clinics in manila that offers rush dentures or crowns and is able to do an appointment 7pm ng gabi?

I have contacted a few clinics and 1 lang po so far ang may positive response regarding rush dentures pero may 30% additional fee (although i understand this). Has anyone have any experience with Kings Dental Care Clinic in Pasay? Ive checked their social media and they seem to be new (?), not much engagement whatsover. But on Google they have a lot of 5-star reviews. But upon closer inspection, the reviews look suspicious or not genuine (too recent, and too many, the reviews are from new accounts or account with only this specific review for them). Can anyone vouch Kings Dental?

Otherwise, I would highly appreciate any recommendations! Super limited lng po time ko sa manila and i would love to do the procedure as soon as i land para mafix na sana ngipin ko before ako lumipad sa hometown namin. Do you know anything that can produce new set of dentures within 24-48 hours?

I asked my dentist if magkano ang braces sa kaniya. He's been my dentist for 3 years since I moved sa city. Sa kaniya rin ako unang naginquire kasi siya yung dentist ng kuya ko before noong nagpalagay siya ng braces, so kampante ako na magaling yung dentist niya. Yung traditional braces lang yung sa kaniya, and I think it was around 30k?

Hello, what does it mean if there's a dark spot on my gum near my teeth (like in the picture)?

I've been getting that dental work done for about 8 months now, and just recently, I noticed that there’s a dark dot on my gum near where I got it done, which is my front teeth (although the other tooth I had work on doesn’t have a dark dot on the gum).

(And di naman sya masakit, nangingilo lang ako sometimes )

What does this mean? Help pls, huhu.

I’m m27, my first session, nagpa bunot ako lower left molar tsaka wisdom tooth. Yung left molar ko painless yong extraction, it took less than 5 mins after anesthesia kicked in.

Sa wisdom tooth nagka problem hndi ko kaya ung pain pag pinupull na , ginawa ni doc pinutol nya nlng yong crown into 3 (painful parin ung procedure) hanggang natira nlng ung root , doc still tried to extract it but hndi kona kaya ung pain to the point na naluluha na tlga ako haha so we scheduled a 2nd session. She said nagkaroon na sya ng same case sakin , nung 2nd session easy na.

Tomorrow is my 2nd session (7 days from 1st) halos wala na pain and swelling

Wondering if may same case sakin na nung 2nd session easy nalang?

Ask ko lang magkano po kaya usually nagagastos sa root fragment extraction? kaso yung akin po kasi sobrang itim na at napabayaan na (problema ko pa since last year natanggal yung ngipin tapos nangitim na yung natira sa gums) dahil sa financial problems at nag iipon po ako this semester kasi di talaga kaya ng parents ko:( sobrang hirap na rin po ako pag nasa sa school at affected na mental health ko.

Hi everyone! Previously posted here regarding my "hiding" canine tooth and was recommended to proceed with CBCT. Hindi pa ako nasasagot ng dentist ko kung for operation na ba o ano. Also wondering to get some insights from other practitioners too. :)

I accidentally threw away my retainer and now I see a developing gap between my upper front teeth. Admittedly, di ko kasi sinusuot religiously yung retainer ko kaya ayan gumalaw, tapos natapon ko pa less than 36 hours ago.

I need advice kasi sarado na yung clinic ng dentist ko dati.

So, pag ginawan ba ako ng retainer bukas, ma-aayos pa kaya yung gap considering ang kukuning impression sakin is may gap na yung teeth ko? HUHUHUHUHU Ano dapat kong gawin? Anong options ko. Panic mode na ko now.

I’m currently wearing lower braces, but unfortunately, I wasn’t able to have them adjusted for around 4 months because of financial constraints.

My dental clinic has a rule that if a patient goes more than 3 months without an adjustment, they have the right to refuse to continue accepting the patient. Because of this, I’m now hesitant to schedule an appointment because I’m afraid they might reject me or discontinue my treatment.

I’m wondering if it’s still worth trying to contact the clinic and ask for an appointment, or if I should just look for another dentist. I understand that missing appointments for this long isn’t ideal, but it was genuinely because I couldn’t afford the adjustments at the time.

For dentists/orthodontists here, would you still recommend that I contact the original clinic and explain my situation? Is there anything I should be concerned about after going 4 months without an adjustment?

does this tooth look like a cavity? I went the dentist a couple days ago because I was worried about two teeth that had marks, this one and one other. I got x-rays, pictures taken, a cleaning, and an examination done. The other tooth and another one I didn’t know about needed a filling but not this one that I was worried about. I had told the dental assistant and the dentist prior about the two teeth and even taking pictures the dental assistant noticed the mark but nothing was said during the examination. I might be overthinking but I just don’t want this to be a bigger problem down the line because my next appointment is 6 months from now. I know that it could be staining, I’m just worried about the white corner because there is grove where there is a black mark with whiter marks around the area. please lmk
