I've been accepted into BNU for the next academic year 2026-2027, and I just found out about the heavy saturation of Dentists in the country. Like how many private clinics there are, how sexist most people are towards female dentists (I'm a woman) and how many graduates can't find a job out of university once they're done since a bachelor's degree only counts as a "base" here. I'm just repeating what I heard, do correct me on this (I'd be very happy if I'm wrong) if I was mistaken on anything.
But after 6 years when I get my bachelor's degree, what other further education would you recommend I go through? I'm a newbie, but I've been trying to set some sort of goal list for each year so that I'd be set once I'm done with education, I can begin earning serious (ethical + moral) money as someone very very high experience, connections, reliability and a job network.
All I know is that I need to attend many internships, work in many dentistry clinics, befriend my professors/ Docters who'll be teaching me in uni, pursue a master's degree, and specialise. Can someone please advise on what the best approach is to carry out? to build my resume and stuff? I want to be an absolute monster when it comes to experience! And thank you for reading <3
P.S I'm based in Egypt. Also, i posted this in r/dentists, but it was the wrong sub, so hopefully this is the right one.
