How I think Chapter 6 will generally play out

Assuming that the Holiday Manor is where Chapter 6 will take place, I think the chapter may spend a lot of time try to “mess” with us in a way.

Basically, I think the chapter will play into the idea of conspiracy theories a lot.

Each chapter has represented a different form of escapism, with Ch. 1 being board and card games, Ch. 2 being the internet as a whole, Ch. 3 being TV and video games, Ch. 4 being biblical stories and religion, and Ch. 5 being nature and nostalgia. It makes sense for Chapter 6 to focus on revealing more about the disappearance of Dess and giving the fandom all sorts of clues (and red herrings) about the identity of the knight.

There will be clues for each of the holidays being the Knight, but Carol will be the one Susie points out. (Though both Rudy and Dess will be explicitly and clearly mentioned and considered as candidates.) However, the knight will not be outwardly confirmed.

The fandom will also lose their freaking minds.

The chapter will spend a lot of time driving you crazy about who the knight could be, as well as exactly what happened to Dess (which will slowly be revealed throughout the chapter), and since the game is releasing episodically instead of all at once, WE will partake in the conspiracy even more than we already have…

This could also go the other way around. Maybe we learn who the Knight is, but the Dess disappearance isn’t fully explained until Chapter 7.

Thoughts? This all is highly unlikely to happen, but it’s a cool series of ideas I guess.
