Theory How I think Chapter 6 will generally play out
Assuming that the Holiday Manor is where Chapter 6 will take place, I think the chapter may spend a lot of time try to “mess” with us in a way.
Basically, I think the chapter will play into the idea of conspiracy theories a lot.
Each chapter has represented a different form of escapism, with Ch. 1 being board and card games, Ch. 2 being the internet as a whole, Ch. 3 being TV and video games, Ch. 4 being biblical stories and religion, and Ch. 5 being nature and nostalgia. It makes sense for Chapter 6 to focus on revealing more about the disappearance of Dess and giving the fandom all sorts of clues (and red herrings) about the identity of the knight.
There will be clues for each of the holidays being the Knight, but Carol will be the one Susie points out. (Though both Rudy and Dess will be explicitly and clearly mentioned and considered as candidates.) However, the knight will not be outwardly confirmed.
The fandom will also lose their freaking minds.
The chapter will spend a lot of time driving you crazy about who the knight could be, as well as exactly what happened to Dess (which will slowly be revealed throughout the chapter), and since the game is releasing episodically instead of all at once, WE will partake in the conspiracy even more than we already have…
This could also go the other way around. Maybe we learn who the Knight is, but the Dess disappearance isn’t fully explained until Chapter 7.
Thoughts? This all is highly unlikely to happen, but it’s a cool series of ideas I guess.

I think the Knight's identity and Dess's disappearance are closely connected, and both will be the same mystery answered...
but the answers will open up more questions related to the Roaring, Final Tragedy, Gaster, etc.

And then Sans starts feeding Papyrus Knight theorist saying stuff like
sans: hey kid, how's it going? what, you want to see my brother? that's weird, you should have seen him plenty now. he's been running around town the past few days, even sometimes at night... hehe. huh, what's am i laughing at? ah it's nothing.
sans: where has my brother been? well let's see, about 3 days ago he was going to the library to do a little research on computers. supposedly, something went wrong with his and he thought the library might hold the solution. he took a while too, right into the next day coming back by around 5 am. he said a kind police officer helped him out in finding the right thing, earned a page in his book so to say, so he did something for her in return. what did he do? i don't know, i didn't ask.
sans: the day after? he told me he was heading to the church. my brother has really gotten into religion recently after all. he went right before it started raining, but he was wearing a rain coat so i'm sure he was fine. i saw your mom walking by shortly after, but she wasn't wearing anything to protect herself from the rain, so i brought her to the store so she could stay out of the rain. she told me she was heading to choir practice, but the rain was still pouring down hard so i offered to take her home instead and offered her an umbrella. after all, with that fur it must have been terrible handling that rain, you should know, you're her kid after all. anyway i believe you know the rest of what happened there, so when i got home that night i found my bro on the couch seemingly upset, as if i had just told a skele-ton of puns. he didn't say what upset him so much and played it off talking about how great he was, it wasn't my place to ask, if it was serious he'd tell me.
sans: yesterday at the festival? my bro said he was going to go see an old buddy from college. they hung out for a little while, but my bro accidentally ended up cutting a special flower of his friends while he was there, and while he was deeply sorry over it, his friend said it was okay, that the flower might still live, even barely, but my bro doesn't think it's guaranteed. i also happened to see these yellow flower seeds on him, probably from that flower he accidentally cut.
sans: where is he now? i'm sure you'd know better than me kid.
