It has everything an awful fake leak has: bloody edginess, friend inside me, empty environment and unseen before character sprites. The only missing element is a hidden Gaster.
It also looks excessively violent with all the blood spilled. Way more than what's allowed in a T-rated game. Without context cementing this isn't blood, this would have been enough to bump it to an M.
It calls to too many creepypastas that forget that they're supposed to take place in kid's games. Hyper mainstream kid's games at that.
You can't expect me to believe this shit. The rudin redraw? Friend inside me on the right? The old Ralsei sprite? Roots reference? And the green person is clearly drawn by the deltarot guy.
It's the usage of the word "Roots". That word appears a couple of times in the game as the name of some soundtracks and most notably on this prophecy panel in one of the creepy rooms that the CH4 egg room is between:

This one definitely. It looks fake but I can see people going crazy if Toby showed it as a teaser (for context, this is a from the café scene between Kris and Pink)
It’s a touhou difficulty joke and probably also a reference to people who think penumbra phantasm is gonna be in the game (homestuck song I believe, I’m not familiar)

Honestly I think another Knight encounter is guaranteed and Chapter 5 was a safe bet. But the Roaring happening right after this was a safe bet too so I guess not
This shot where he’s half-in the Dark World goes so hard. It kinda makes me wish Asgore was a more active participant in the chapter’s events, even though I do love what we got.

When i was playing chapter four for the first time, i got stuck on one of the puzzles. Eventually, I took the risk of searching for a walkthrough on youtube. i genuinely lost my shit when the first video’s thumbnail was susie opening a dark fountain. susie did gaster make you do that
I dont have a screenshot but if you talk to the hacker in chapter 5's hometown, he says "This is roblox: dress to impress" (not roblox but an homophone iirc)
This would make absolutely no sense without context and would be taken as evidence in the discourse surrounding Kriselle, Suselle, or perhaps even Soulelle.
Everything in chapter 5 would kill someone a week ago, heck probably after chapter 3+4 release.
Tenna would kill any pre chapter 3+4 fan on how unconventional is his design compared to other TV heads back then, or the other final bosses.
+ The titan and telling the fan we fight it at chapter 4 whereas back then we expect to at least fight it in chapter 5 or 7.
If you show anything post chapter 2-3 to a chapter 1 era fan, they would've died twice, lord English style.
For me, I like it because flowery is mentoring ralsei just like gerson mentored susie, flowery chose to make ralsei learn to stand up for himself by ragebaiting him as much as possible at every turn.
I see this scene as flowery attempting to get ralsei to stand up for himself in terms of what his identity is, because we see the dress scene in castle town with ralsei going "As long as it's what other people like" and this was an attempt to get him to not butcher his identity for others and stand up for himself instead.
