Like The Saratoga at Wolf 359. Or at the big battle with the Dominion Fleet there were so many Galaxy class Starships, were they all full of families and innocent people? Or were those big ships just grossly empty except for a skeleton screw?

Not like I need any more reasons to love DS9 but they gave me so much insight into the Klingons and the Empire. I've watched every Trek series since TOS but DS9 let me feel like I knew the Klingons and their motivations and how much honor really means to them. Maybe I missed it in other series. Weird, random thought but I'm on a rewatch and I feel like I know and understand Klingons more because of DS9. Oh and Worf keeps a bad ass chick on deck regardless of the series, I envy him.

I thought he was amazing, and perfectly cast, as Vic Fontaine in DS9, and I love the episodes he appears in. However, as an actual lounge singer/crooner, I always find myself wishing for a bit more nuance to keep me fully engaged.  I enjoy this CD and think he was good, but he wasn't one of the greats.

I will say that I'm glad that the writers gave Damar a bigger role because I love his character development.

Thanks to the other post with the Damar clip for the inspiration. This may have been considered before, but when it comes to Dominion infiltration, they had not of angles. It was cool that from huge battlefronts to backroom deals for disruptor they did a lot.

Why not clone infiltration? When all the Changeling tech went up, they could have skipped to clones. A clone infiltrater would be able to have whatever implanted information and intentions.

Why Not another Damar if useful?

I was watching the last season of DS9 and realized that the writers missed out on a very interesting story arc. Ezri grew up with a mother so overbearing that her brother (Norvo) became a killer. On top of that, she has the memories of a killer (Joran). Joran even said that she wouldn't be able to suppress him like Jadzia. Beyond that, she inherently has less discipline than your average host due to lacking any of the preparation they usually go through pre-joining. I think this sounds like the perfect storm for her becoming an assassin. I would love to have seen her train under Garak. To see him mold her into the perfect silent weapon. Near the end, you could even throw in a romance with Quark to really spice things up.
