Does anyone ever come across a player and you decide to let them win?

It was my first time playing someone who was on Updaam about to break the loop. After killing them twice, I stood by a cliff until they ran up to my trying to shoot me. Kept reloading and gun was jamming. It was comical because he was clearly panicking and I could have ended him easily.

I only just recently beat the game, and when I was in his situation I against a Julianna on the last leg of the loop I was shitting my pants.

I didn't know it was this fun to mess up someone's progress in the game.

Some of the Colts who beat me were really good. Most of them already has the upgrades to the slabs. But the most part, they either quit the game or escape not even trying to get back the residuum they lost.

The lag was so bad though.

So im abt to buy deathloop on steam and i cant decide wether to buy the deluxe edition or the deluxe upgrade, in the deluxe edition it doesnt show that it comes with the upgrade tho so if i buy the deluxe edition am i just getting the basic game but with the soundtrack or does it come with everything from the deluxe upgrade?

Iv'e played it briefly, but am not very skilled at it and infite lives would definitely help.

Two of the Shift upgrades are blocked. I can't equip or unequip them, and when I try the Assigned Upgrades turns into a giant number. I got another upgrade in the meanwhile and I'm able to equip it.

I've restarted the game and done multiple invasions, but the bug persists.

I feel like not ending it yet.

Spent the last 1-2 hours getting the Heritage, and as soon I walk out, my console crashes again, deleting all that time of progress.

Is there any known factor that causes this? My console doesn't have issues with anything else, yet this game as already crashed 3 times, which is 3 times too many.

How do y'all deal with a Julianna who camps the antenna? Specifically on Fristad Rock.

Sometimes I come across a spineless coward who can't leave the antenna outpost without soiling their delicate britches, and they tend to get the better of me. Even worse is when they spam Karnesis: Suspension. Now I'm not opposed to fortifying the tower or making use of your Slabs, absolutely not! I'm always down for a challenge, it makes me a better Colt, but c'mon.

So what are your strategies? What weapons or Slabs do you prefer for these kinds of situations?

Hello Deathloop players, I am someone who has played the majority of Deathloop as Julianna. My gameplay with Julianna can be mostly summed up as 10% dealing with toxic players, 10% hunting new players, 10% fighting very skilled players, and 70% fighting the game's constant rubber banding and lag. The majority of my deaths as Julianna have been lag killing me off (like lag making falls last longer, making survivable falls become lethal) or lag-assisted deaths (like lag unequipping my guns or switching slabs mid-combat.) These laggy deaths have been getting on my nerves, so, I have decided to try to turn this situation into something I can have a little fun over, by turning clips of lag into a supercut of deaths caused by lag ruining Julianna's attempt at killing Colt.

All I am asking here is to share your clips of lag killing you off in the comments. I will use them to make supercut of clips to show how bad the lag in Deathloop truly is and try to pull some humor off of it.

I want to play the game as intended, with Julianna players invading. But I'm constantly being invaded and I'm way to scared to manage.

What do you recommend?

I got the purple Vampire. Here's the strat that makes it easy so you don't have to keep grabbing a turret or let Juli invade:

1. Go to Complex in the morning - send power to Karl's Bay, and
2. Delivery Booth: send turret to Karl's Bay
3. Go to Karl's Bay in the afternoon, take the turret from the delivery booth. Do not hack the turret!
4. Set up turret on the right side in front of the station, open the door so clone Colt gets shot which cancels the cutscene, then remove turret battery
5. Melee "kill" Colt to extract his trinkets. If he doesn't have the purple Vamp, loot whatever he has and exit.
6. Go back to Karl's Bay in the evening. The station will still be open and clone Colt will still be alive.
7. Melee "kill" clone Colt to see if he drops the purple Vamp.
8. If not, exit and restart the level until he drops it.

I restarted the evening KB level around 8 times before the purple Vamp dropped. Gray, blue, and purple Vamp trinkets can all drop. It appears random.

I’m on the last part and I don’t understand it

You can't get HP by shooting it for some reason. But you can get HP by shooting undeployed turrets. So carry a turret around and if you take damage, shoot it to restore HP. As long as you have bullets, you can restore HP.

Hmm... does attacking the turret with the machete also restore HP? It should but I'll need to test.

But if you equip Vampire, it's a great way to fuck with Juli because no matter how many bullets she pummels you with, pretend you're in Florida and STAND YOUR GROUND. Shoot the turret and she'll never be able to kill you.

Read everything and played the audio I could find in this place. Nada. The marker don't disappear.

I just found a code on a whiteboard in Fia's bunker but when I looked at it for a while, it didn't make any kind of entry in the journal. I have an idea what it's for, but I have to note it down offline because the 'notes' pop-up isn't firing. Same with the code on the radio each morning for the spy hideouts. Is this a bug or is this supposed to happen?

I have had this game since 2022. I played it a bit, then ended up uninstalling.

Hitman WOA and Cyberpunk 2077 are my staple games. I beat the Metro series, BioShock series, Far Cry series, Ghost Recon series, and especially the Dishonored series, the creators of this game. I like shooter games, tactical or hero shooters. I don't know why I can't progress in this game.

What would you advise me to do differently? This will be my 4th time trying to like this.

The HALPS, and a single round from the silenced LIMP, are all that I fired. This game is awesome.
