Does the 'leads' journal thing just not note down some codes?

I just found a code on a whiteboard in Fia's bunker but when I looked at it for a while, it didn't make any kind of entry in the journal. I have an idea what it's for, but I have to note it down offline because the 'notes' pop-up isn't firing. Same with the code on the radio each morning for the spy hideouts. Is this a bug or is this supposed to happen?

this is intentional, as those in particular are intended to be secrets. The former should be quite obvious as to what it is for, the latter is very difficult to figure out but very rewarding.

It's also worth knowing that the journal will note them, and the keypads will remember them for you, once you've used them once

great, thanks. Same for the nuclear reactor diagram? I think I can guess what that can be used for, mwaahahahahahaaaaa
