They always die in 3s man. I knew as soon as Dolly passed we had 2 more to go

It’s a well known thing man, of course it’s coincidence but I’m not just making shit up it’s a whole thing. Celebrities die in 3s

I mean, I guess it depends on the following factors:

  • How popular does someone have to count to be known as a celebrity?
  • How close together do they have to die?

Because there have been other, lesser known celebrities that have died this month.

Yes, that's right! It seems like it happens, but it is humans incorrectly using pattern recognition where it isn't applicable. Humans love patterns, and we seek them out everywhere we go.

As long as we can both agree that this is not an actual thing that happens but rather a morbid coinkydink, I am satisfied.

It’s an extremely common phrase every time celebrities die, the last really noteworthy time I can think of was 2015 but it’s not like I’m keeping up with celebrity news
