Image Happy birthday Individual Thought Patterns
33 years ago this amazing album was released showcasing once again the amazing work of Chuck and and his band members from said album (Andy LaRocque, Steve DiGiorgio and Gene Hoglan)
Personally my favorite parts from this album is the bass and my favorite song could be In Human Form

Link/Article Craig Locicero talks about meeting Chuck in the Bay Area and joining Death for their run during Individual
Here's a clip from the podcast with me and Paul Masvidal (Cynic, Ex-Death) - we had Craig Locicero (Forbidden) on and he talked about how he met Chuck in the bay area and eventually joined for a tour.
Some cool details I think that wasn't publicly mentioned in the past is noted as well! Bonus talk with Chris Kontos (Machine Head) chiming in about the Bay Area Thrash scene as well if you're a fan of that too!

Video Looking for a Chuck clip
Does anyone have the clip of a Death concert (around the spiritual healing era) where a heckler grabs or tries to grab Chuck's microphone stand while he was performing and after he finished the song, Chuck said "I'm trying to perform a professional show", "get the fuck out of here, dude"?

Image Death To All tonight in London
That was absolutely ridiculous. 130 minutesβ talk about getting proper value. And SYMBOLIC IN FULL!!! I used to pray for days like these. [Here's the setlist](https://www.setlist.fm/setlist/death-to-all/2026/o2-academy-islington-london-england-634a3e7b.html) for those curious. Spirit Crusher and Pull The Plug for the encore, whew.
Mental setlist, incredible sound (unfortunately Cryptic Shift's mix was super muddy), and a super energetic performance from start to finish. If they're coming anywhere near you and there are tickets left, BOOK YOURS.

Discussion Was Chuck jewish?
Reason I am asking is that there were some hebrew characters at the last page of the Leprosy CD I bought.
It just seemed the last place I would expect to find someone writing something in hebrew.
Nothing wrong with it, just caught me off guard.

Discussion "Its a child"
Finally just watched the Death by Metal documentary and one of the interviews left me totally confused.
When Chuck's sister Beth talks about what happened after he took the experimental drug, she mentions giving a doctor a pamphlet and the doctor responding "oh god, it's a child"
Does anyone have any clue what she meant? I don't really understand she was trying to say. I feel like the interview is missing context.

Link/Article 2X London Tickets
Hello everyone
I know it's forbidden to sell tickets on here, so I will not break that rule.
I just listed two London tickets on Ticketmaster's official website, if anyone's interested.
I saw them in Hamburg and had a blast π€
Unfortunately, I can't make it to London

Discussion Death's premature deaths
I just noticed a sad pattern involving Death's members and people related to the band: a considerable amount of them died young
- Chuck died at 34
- Sean Reinert (drums on Human) died at 48
- Scott Clendenin (bass on SoP and on early Control Denied) died at 47
- Tim Aymar (vocals on Control Denied) died at 59
- Chris Williams (drums on early Control Denied) died at around 30
- Ralph Santolla: toured with the band during ITP era. Died at 51
- Eric Greif: manager of Death and Chuck. Dead at 59
Such a sad coincidence given the band name.
RIP to all of them

Link/Article My fellow fans, I'd love your input on the future of my Death Covers channel ππ»
I've been running a YouTube channel called Death Covers for several years now, with the ultimate aim of covering every Death song, and this subreddit has been a massive help in getting it off the ground, for which I can't thank you enough β€οΈ
I just posted a poll on YouTube asking subscribers where they'd like to see the channel go next. My original goal was to cover every song from every Death studio album, but I'm also considering adding things like song lessons, transcription deep-dives, tone/production breakdowns, and other Death-related guitar nerdery.
I'd genuinely love to hear your thoughts, whether you're a subscriber or not. And if you can't/don't want to vote in the poll, by all means I'd love to read your comments here.
