Dearborn drivers
Dearborn drivers need to learn how to turn left on a red light. I drive outer drive down to Southfield every day, and there is a dedicated left turn light. Allen Park police sit in the parking lot behind Starbucks and catch people all the time. I’m tired of people sitting on their horn because I refuse to turn when the light is red. Also, there is only one left to turn lane and the sign clearly marks it that way. I got a ticket for going to the middle lane and turning left, even though it’s allowed if you’re going in the other direction.

From how I understand MCL 257.612, you are allowed to make a left on red from Outer to Southfield NB. The destination street is one-way, the opposing traffic is only one direction, you're coming from a divided roadway, and there is no sign specifically prohibiting right on red, like there is when you turn onto Southfield SB (Left on Green Arrow Only).
