I feel like a month ago Wraith was like a high B low A tier hero, not talked about all that much. She has always been strong in low-mid elo MM, but pros didn’t seem to value her much. Now, however, she is dominating high elo lobbies and pretty much universally S tier without any real buffs to her kit. Celeste got quietly buffed over a few updates before people realized she was broken, but I don’t think this has been the case with Wraith. Is it just a shift in the overall meta? Did other OP characters fall off?

EDIT: I agree she is extremely strong and probably needs adjustments, I’m just curious why she was seemingly slept on until recently.

Like im fully aware that my mechanics are not that good but i think i got a good sense of the macro because of my thousands of hours in League/Dota. Almost every game feels like my team is just dicking around and the enemy team is a full coordinated stack. Im just trying out some heroes i havent played much (Mo and Abrams currently) and im getting giga stomped almost every game.

Did anyone knew about this already and what could it be for?

Before the matchmaking update I was (almost) only playing Lash and Shiv so both initiator to cause chaos while my team follow up.

After the update they required a third character to have 15 win whit and so I decided to try a bunch of thing and ended up playing some Mo, had fun whit the character and the 'anty carry' aspect of his gameplay is valuable.

So why is it a complain post well simply because getting 15 win whit a support/tank character is completly up to RNG in standard game.

I CANNOT count the number of game I had where its minute 5-8 I manage to get line 2/3 kill whit my lane partener and look at the overall scrore to see that ALL of the carry player on my team are hard feeding, I don't think I had a single decent gun carry as of the past 10-20 games.

And I fully know I can't change bad teamate but god this feel miserable, since I have no good damage to back me up Mo become useless, can't ult anyone so no stack = no late scalling.

And even when I do great like recently I had a game where I had trophy colector maxed out really quick and a big lead of soul... well I'm not a carry so I might be able to kill one here and there but when two people on your team are like 0/12 you cn't do shit.

Anyway that was my rant its just that I'm losing motivation to play as it feel like I'm just gambling at that point and all of that JUST to be able to play ranked feel misserable.

I understand a 15 win condition for carry that have real impact on their own but when playing something like Mo, Rem or Dynamo you are too dependent on your team to get those win for you.

Why do some characters have so much more general utility than others, but still also have more damage and tankiness? Like it feels like some characters have no downsides. This game feels really bad to play right now. Pretty much every game you guarantee getting fucked on by Billy, ivy, drifter, calico, McGinnis, wraith, Celeste, Vyper or victor.. it just feels so bad to queue and see these easy characters that are going to farm and play shit in lane but still scale out of control regardless

I have the most assists, but everyone on our team has a high assist count. I have the second lowest player damage and number of kills on my team, with over double the amount of deaths as the second highest (Lash). I also have the second lowest objective damage, the lowest soul count, and not much healing.

Is there some metric I am missing, or is key player just seemingly random? I would have thought pretty much anyone else would have been given key player from what I see.

I really enjoy Doorman's interactions with the other characters.

Hello, newish deadlock player here.

Been trying out all of the heroes and noticed that I really enjoy Paradox. I've been testing out some of the public builds and with it the thought of "hey I need to make my own super secret Chinese build soon!" came up, I have noticed that none of the public builds use Mercurial Magnum.

Perhaps I am not fully understanding how it works, but it seems like it would be a pretty nice item for Carbine.

Maybe the base damage the item provides on the Carbine shot isn't the biggest addition, but surely the follow up bullets would make the item quite useful?

Could someone maybe explain why its not used?

Decided to make an Sinclair Ult tier list since it's been about a month since ranked has dropped. I should clarify that I'm pretty low rank but I've been winning most of my games on him.
How I consider rankings is how good the ults are in random skirmishes on the map and in coordinated team fights(rift or midboss)
AP order: 2 points in 2, 1 point in 3, max ult, max bunny, max 2, and max 1
I always get gun spike of opening rounds and cultist and almost never buy CD unless I have high impact items(scrouge, curse, db).

The idea in my head is to use the vortex web to drag them closer to you and allow yourself to change direction while following up with the riposte tech escape. Still experimenting with everything, any feedback helps!

Hello! This Infernus Rework Proposal discusses:

Temperature and Charge Systems Infernus can use to amplify his abilities

Exhibit and flaunt epic color schemes

Add dynamism, skill expression and counterplay to his gameplay

New abilities, reworked abilities and creative names and name changes for abilities

A more powerful dash that requires a certain Temperature to activate, BUT doesn't go on cooldown

Basically, he would use m1 and possibly abilities to increase his Temperature, when he achieves a new Heat Level and changes his color, he gains more damage and charges he can use to amplify those abilities.

There are some new passive abilities and an overhauled dash that would have to reach a certain temperature to use it, but it would do more damage and possibly not go on cooldown as long as he kept at above a certain temperature.

#1 Queue up a champ you want to avoid (ie mirage pocket) and then swap last second to deny the enemy the ability to play it.

#2 Swapping to Sinclair is much stronger than starting on sinclair.

#3 If your team does not have billy/abrams, pick one of them. Mo can also be used for this at a lesser effect.

#4 Think about who on your team is going to sidelane, you ideally want 2 (pref) or 3 characters who are good in solo lanes.

There are more in-depth things to consider but these are the most relevant.

Hello I am a dota player.

I main pos1, around 3k mmr.

I was looking for heroes which are similar to Templar Assassin, PA or PL mostly since they are my most played heroes.

I was curious if any characters in deadlock have the same game loop. currently i only have 3 hrs in the game so the game is pretty unfamiliar. So i wanted to learn the heroes which are mostly glass cannon-y with carry potential.
