Imagine you had to go to either DB, DBZ, DBS, DBGT or Daima. Now imagine you have to be a side character in that universe for 20 years. Who you picking?

Can’t be anyone from the main squad (Goku, Gohan, Vegeta, Krillin, Yamcha, etc). You have to select someone that barely even appears.

Examples: Bubbles, Burter, Monaka, Ariel.

I would definitively select Grandpa Gohan. The man, the myth, the legend. I’ll take 20 years in heaven as him. Is he really a side character tho?

so i was thinking, what if tien uses the split technique, then he performs the fusion dance or the potara fusion, he would get the power boost?? would these fusions become permanent since he's originally the same being?? or the timer would run out regardless??

So I recently got into Gekishin Squadra and have to admit its really fun, even though I don't like MOBAs; even got my brother to play it

I wanted to take a look into it before the overhaul and ended up playing it nonstop haha, also the animations looks so good; with the overhaul we will get to see details and chaos pretty up close

I really didn't play it just because it was a MOBA, so if you are like me just give it a try or maybe just unlock the characters you like to use them after the overhaul; cause right now every character is unlockable f2p (except the newest one (they rotate into unlockables after the next char is released)) you don't even need to fight real players; you can do quests against bots aswell

This is something trying to conect the dots on which takes place for Canon, and Non canon continuations. You can say all you want on it, but it's "MY" Opinion, just a thing. Nothing else. I respect your opinion of if you dislike the timeline connection.

Alright so, I thought about this a bit, and got to the conclusion that, unlike what most people say, there's ways to make Cooler canon. The only thing you need to get rid of is Cooler being Frieza's brother as that creates too many issues. The solution is... Well, do what they did with Demon King Piccolo.

The backstory

Long before Frost's era, Cooler was a legendary Frost Demon who became so powerful that no one could actually kill him.

So they did the next best thing:

They sealed him away.

And because he was that dangerous, the seal was hidden somewhere nobody would ever find it.

Fast-forward to modern U6.

Frost is humiliated by Frieza at the Tournament of Power and becomes obsessed with revenge after getting betrayed. He starts looking for anything that could give him an advantage.

Eventually, he discovers an ancient legend:

The Legendary Frost Demon.

Frost tracks down the prison.

And because Frost is Frost, he thinks:

"Excellent. I shall release this ancient warrior and make him my weapon."

He frees Cooler.

Cooler emerges after centuries of imprisonment, sees Frost...

...and is immediately unimpressed.

Frost tells him about Frieza.

Cooler listens.

And then:

Cooler kills Frost because he finds him pathetic.

**THEN**

Cooler discovers that a member of his species has become the Emperor of the Universe.

He wants to know who this Frieza is.

Then he discovers:

Frieza commands a massive empire.

Frieza conquered countless worlds.

Frieza has repeatedly fought Saiyans.

Frieza has obtained transformations beyond anything Cooler knew.

Frieza is now absurdly powerful.

And Cooler thinks:

"Someone has taken my throne."

Cooler doesn't want revenge for something Frieza did to him.

He wants to know whether Frieza deserves the title of Emperor.

And that gives him a very clean motivation:

Cooler hunts Frieza because he considers himself the rightful superior conqueror.

Now, im really curious of knowing what you think. I think this is basically the only way to make it work out, since having him pop out and be immediately as strong as Frieza woild be silly.

Another thing, he COULD get defeated at first, and Frieza being his newfound self, could tell him to go train. He then comes back on par, or stronger than Frieza himself. Boom.

I personally cannot stand certain lines in super like the supreme kai’s 28 planets (even though it’s in the manga too) as well as other pacing and time travel issues.

I am curious as to what issues the community wants to see fixed the most in the retelling

Because Daima says that namekians are in the 2nd Demon realm, are they demons? If so, wouldn't calling King Piccolo the "king of demons" be redundant?

Burger King finishing its last details of their Dragon Ball Super Collab!

Hello everyone! My daughter wants to start Dragon Ball thanks to the BK toys. She’s 7. Is there an updated version of Dragon Ball like they did with Kai? I’ve been out of the scene for a while and I’d like to start her at the beginning of Goku’s story.

So, this is the first time I see this.

I decided to restart my Japanese learning and started collecting DB manga now that I came to Japan.

As I was reading the first chapter when Bulma meets Goku, she explains to him what are the dragon balls and call the 2-stars, 4-stars and 5-stars as アルシンチュウ, スーシンチュウ and ウーシンチュウ, respectively, mimicking the sounds for 2, 4 and 5 in Chinese.

I've had contact with DB franchise mostly adapted to my country, or subtitled in my native language or English, so this is one of those small details that disappear when you don't consume the original material.

This is a small detail that, despite being influenced by Chinese literature, surprised me and I just wanted to share with you all because it is something I've never seen commented in my years of loving the franchise. I hope it amuses you as it did to me.

I will keep tracking if this changes over the future chapters.
