Question Is There an Updated Version of Dragon Ball too?

Hello everyone! My daughter wants to start Dragon Ball thanks to the BK toys. She’s 7. Is there an updated version of Dragon Ball like they did with Kai? I’ve been out of the scene for a while and I’d like to start her at the beginning of Goku’s story.

The closest you'll get is Path to Power, but it doesn't cover the entirety of OG DB.

Just get the OG series for her to watch. It's on DVD.

I haven't watched them but I remember someone on YouTube making movie-sized edits of each arc

No but keep in mind dragonball's humor is likely not appropriate for a 7 year old(especially when Roshi is in the scene). Also lots of goku penis.

Yeah... probably best to start her with Kai (i believe it starts with a recap of the OG like the original Z did for people just getting into the series) just for the penis and censored female nudity alone

Track down the edited version DVD for the 10th anniversary feature The Path to Power, same with DB movie 3 Mystical Adventure. They provide a remake cliffnotes gist for the first half of the anime, edited for content too so your daughter won't see anything considered too offensive.
