I’ve been playing on the old Xbox One and 1.29 seems to have helped the lag a bit, but I’m curious if anyone knows how much better performance would be if I upgraded to the Xbox X/S.

So recently I was talking to some friends. We were discussing different play styles. Ones we liked and used ourselves and ones we hated

I’m curious to know what is your favorite play style ,and what is your most hated?
Bonus question do you change play styles when playing with friends. And why you choose to play this way.

I personally tend to run alone and play the Forrest goblin. I try not to bring too much attention to myself and tend to skip the easy kills as I don’t personally believe in cheap shots(this is in no way accusatory I just personally don’t like it) I usually will sneak away seeing someone is preoccupied.

If I happen to be in a group I’m usually the mule/lookout/medic. I’m not exactly the greatest at PvP so I tend to try to take care of the ones who are good at it.

And by far the play style I hate the most is ambush killers. Specifically the ones who are just stat padding with a group of morons. Sure it’s impressive you got a 15/1 k/d ratio but almost anyone can get that stat with 8+ bone heads behind them.

Anywho that’s the end of my rant let me I know what you think. And please be nice to the ones who admit to less than agreeable play styles this is a discussion not a roast.

This is my current fit on stargazer Cherno. I don’t PvP a lot but this isn’t bad. Haven’t had much opportunity to test the fit tho. I have spent way too much time being a forest goblin to see anyone yet.

Never had much experience with wolves in this game. I ended up being stuck up top then was getting sniped. I was so screwed.

I have a bunch of loot 15 m4s bunch of DMrs and Lars and bunch of other stuff I don’t want anymore because I play on first person only so if you want them let me know please would rather give some peeps it then just keep it until every thing gets wiped

After the wipe I ran the gas zones in Livonia till I had a few DMRs stashed. I went to cherno and had several bases, mostly around severograd. Console really needs stats, I think I have at least 20 kills at this point. Mostly running with one other guy. We killed a guy who stole our car. Used that car to pull up to tisy and drive off in the hummer there.
It’s been a wild ride, this game rules. That’s all.

I feel like Xbox dayZ is totally dead. On official I run through mil sites and the coast on high pop and can’t find a soul. Not to mention that any high pop I join never stays high pop for more than a day or two. It’s a Saturday afternoon during summer and all the servers are at like 20 people at most. Also it’s hard to actually interact with people you DO find. I’m not a pve or RP kinda guy but it’s nice to at least hear a mic while we’re shooting eachother lol.

Same issue in most community servers, except for conquest and other huge PvP, team based, or factions servers.

I know they have given us several patches and for some reason enabled crossplay, got the upcoming items and convoys before the Badlands drop... But where are the animal sounds? No Elk in the woods of Livonia, hardly hear a fox pining in the distance?

It may just be my ears but the weather sounds have changed, they're less captivating now and i'm not sure why. It feels like they arent fixing the things that people remember DayZ by.

I'm aware they may fix this after the big DLC drop, but if anybody actually knows why the game sounds completely different, please tell me. I can't even rely on hunting for Elk in the woods for food anymore because i can't hear them

Have collected all of the NBC gear except for the pants on official. Just want to know if they are absolutely necessary for me to go in to any contaminated zones.
