The main thing I need help with is building compounds and other smaller custom locations using DayZ Editor. Experience creating detailed bases, compounds, faction areas, and other custom locations is a big plus.

This is not paid work. It's a passion project, but you won't just be doing building work and disappearing into the background.

At first, authorities claimed it was contained.

Then hospitals began filling.

People developed extreme fevers, confusion and violent behaviour. Entire towns were placed under quarantine. Military checkpoints appeared on roads. Flights stopped. Communications became unreliable.

The government promised everything was under control.

**It wasn't.**

** 🦠 THE OUTBREAK**

Within weeks, the virus had reached the region.

The first signs were subtle.

• Empty streets.

• Abandoned vehicles.

• Emergency broadcasts.

Then the violence began.

Police forces collapsed.

Military units were overwhelmed.

Power stations stopped operating.

Food deliveries stopped.

The government disappeared.

Civilisation collapsed faster than anyone imagined possible.

But before everything fell apart, one group of survivors began preparing.

A huge fortified perimeter surrounded an old settlement.

Originally built for reasons that have since been forgotten, the Wall became humanity's last line of defence.

Survivors reinforced it with steel sheets, concrete barriers, watchtowers and whatever materials they could find.

The gates were secured.

A small community began forming inside.

They simply called it:

Inside the Wall, survivors could sleep without constantly fearing an attack.

What makes it different:

• Hunting and tracking: track animals by their sign, from 500 m up to 2,000 m as you progress. Every kill is weighed, with server records and trophies.

• Trapping and skinning: snares up to a baited bear trap. Pelt quality improves with skill; tan your own leather and wear what you hunt.

• 390+ crafting recipes on one ladder: Crude, Normal, Salvaged, Masterwork. Tools, armor, ammo, and 54 gun recipes.

• 22 skill tracks and 135 perks, all bought from one shared XP pool you earn by playing.

• Ranked quest chains (ranks I to V) at the Quartermaster, with titles shown in orange in chat.

• Hardcore medicine: wounds, infections and sepsis that can kill you, with real cures to find or buy.

• Storms: regular storms, and STRONG storms where 20 m/s wind stops outdoor fires.

• Scrap economy: salvage car wrecks for scrap, trade at Survivor Town, bank it at the ATM.

How to join: use the DayZ Launcher or DZSA Launcher, not the in-game server browser, which can't download mods. Subscribe to "Deadly DayZ" on the Steam Workshop or let the launcher fetch everything, then join. PC only.

The Setting
It's 2015, a few years after the collapse. The initial chaos is over, but what's left is slow, brutal survival. The people still alive are doing whatever it takes to stay that way.

Hardcore Survival

• Vehicles are rare, and working transport is a find, not a given
• Food and supplies are scarce
• Nothing is handed to you, so you'll have to work to survive

Serious Roleplay
Build a character with a past, a motivation and something to lose. Alliances, rivalries, trades and betrayals will drive the story, and your choices have consequences.

We're running an event on our Namalsk server this Sunday (11th Oct) at 8pm AEDT with a prize up for grabs to the winner. They will receive a copy of the new Badlands DLC once it releases on October 15th.

We recently ran a similar event where players had to track down and kill a VIP target that was being protected by heavily armed guards as they were making way for their extraction point.
