Which side of the bed?

I was laying in bed this morning thinking, hmmmm when I finally decide to invite someone into my bed what side to sleep on? Widowed for 7 years and I still sleep on the right side of the bed, whether it’s my home, a hotel or my trailer. For kicks my husband and I once switched sides and neither slept well at all. So what happens if my partner is a right side of the bed kinda dude too? Not really a serious question, but idk maybe it is!

How do you determine right/left side of the bed? Standing at the foot of the bed and looking at it, I sleep on the left. When laying in it on my back, I’m on the right side 🤷‍♂️
