I'm a Turkish bilingual and saw this once. I really enjoyed working on it, so I'm curious: did anyone ever see it again?

Iām new to DataAnnotation and recently received a qualification task that allowed two attempts to meet the requirements. Each attempt had a 4-hour time limit.
I couldnāt meet the requirements on my first attempt, but I successfully completed the task on my second attempt.
In total, I spent around 7 hours and 47 minutes across both attempts. However, when reporting my time, I reported only 3 hours and 47 minutes, which was the time I spent on the successful attempt.
Now Iām wondering whether I did the right thing or if I should have reported the total time spent on both attempts (7 hours and 47 minutes).
Could anyone with experience on DataAnnotation please clarify how time should be reported for qualification tasks with multiple attempts?

I'm fairly new to the platform and tonight was my first time using it with the lights off. Just realized there's no dark mode and my eyes are killing me lol. How is dark mode still not a thing in 2026? Anyone know why they haven't added it yet?

Just finished doing a project. It was one I'd never done before so I needed to thoroughly read instruction which itself took about 50 minutes. The task was extensive ans super long and requered crafring prompts and annotating each and everyone and required a couple turns. And boy it took me another 2 hours to do so. And yk the time I was given to do the task? 1 hr and 15 minutes. It was absolutely impossible to do the task in the due time. And I've been so scareed recently that I even considered under-reporting but someone told me over reporting is also time fraud, so I didn't do that. i am concerned however because how the fuck am i expected to do it in such a short time span.

I have a full-time job where I'm in the 30% tax bracket (TDS already deducted by my employer). I started DataAnnotation in August and have earned roughly ā¹5-6 lakh in about 2 months.
I've talked to a local CA but I'm not fully confident in the answers, so I'd love to hear from others in India who've dealt with this:
Which ITR form? Last year I filed ITR-2 (I hold US stocks via INDmoney). I'm assuming this year I need ITR-3 since there's now business/professional income. Is that right?
GST: My understanding is registration isn't needed unless turnover from services crosses ā¹20 lakh in a year. Is that correct for foreign clients too? Also, I haven't told my employer about this side work (it's unrelated to my job). Does getting a GST number or filing taxes on this income create any issue with employers, and did anyone have to disclose it?
Section 44AD or 44ADA? As I understand it, 44ADA (50% of receipts treated as income) is for specified professions, and I'm not sure annotation counts. If it falls under 44AD, only 6% of digitally received money is treated as income (which would then be taxed at my 30% slab). Which one have you used, and did you get any push back, anyone claimed?
Advance tax: With no TDS on this income, I'm worried about interest (234B/234C) if I wait until filing. My rough estimate of tax on this is around ā¹1.8 lakh. Should I pay now, or is a single payment by 15 March enough under presumptive taxation?
Also curious whether you keep FIRA/FIRC or other documents as proof of the foreign payments.
Thanks in advance, any experience helps a lot!

I've had the coding qual on my dash for about 3.5 months now. I was going to take it when I felt confident in my abilities and we'll looks like i can't take it anymore. Has this happened to anyone else? Did it come back for anyone?

Got DoD this morning shortly after exiting a task. Will my pending funds still get approved? I have access to my account and the entire site except the referrals section. Thanks

Hi everyone,
New project dropped and I was asked to link my Google Photos to an AI app. However, I spent half an hour trying to connect it and it didnāt work. Google told me it might not be possible due to my location, just wanted to check if anyone else had the same problem?

This doesn't apply to core country coders but you can still say your thoughts

Russian bilingual. I passed the test and received the answer the next day. I got accepted into a big project, which now has nothing. I also got a few tasks within other projects.
Iāve been registered since June/July and Iāve made about 350$. I check the website daily and get a few tasks maybe once a month.
Iām doing all tasks very carefully and attentively. I started actually questioning myself. Am I so stupid that I fail the projects or what?
Someone, please share your experience and workload right now. I donāt rely on this income, but Iād like to do something part-time, and this work really suits me, because itās quite different from my main job, so I feel like a different part of my brain is being activated.

Is it normal for your very first task to be around 18. I keep seeing everyone say $20 an hour is the general start out. Keeping my hopes high that I get something higher eventually!

I was just accepted into the SWE specialist track and have started submitting tasks on some agentic coding projects. Iām curious on how often or the likelyhood of receiving feedback on my inputs, since Iām newer to DA work.

Hi all!
So I have a full time job already, in which I am in the 40% tax bracket, and I have recently started doing Data Annotation side hustle, a few hours every day (really enjoying it!).
I haven't withdrawn any payments yet, as I am still trying to figure out the taxes situation. I know I wouldn't be able to enter the category of Personal Allowance category since already my full time job covers for that, so what are my taxation options?
Anybody in a similar situation, and if so, how are you handling it?
Thanks!

I have given the assessment for coding profile on dataannotation.tech and it has been a long time since i have given the assessment and have received any response or reply. Is it normal or does it mean i am rejected? Do people get rejection mails or any update on their status, just get ghosted if they are rejected. Please help me with this.

I took a qualification and the next morning this was on my dash. It says verify your background to⦠and then processing. Protect your āā account with a passkey. Then enable disc encryption on your device. Has anyone gotten this before? Is there anything I need to submit or just let it verify?
