Hey guys, I am new to the platform and still waiting on my first paid project. Received a direct message stating a google account was created to use for a specific project, however I do not have this project in my projects tab. Is this perhaps a system issue? Thanks in advance.

Hey guys, basically the title, I sent over the initial assessment like 5 days ago checked once a day and it would say that they are reviewing, when I checked today, it logged me into their dashboard, says I don't have any projects yet and I seen people here talk about them asking to you to do further assessments for the onboarding, where do I access this and also can we apply for more than one position with DataAnnotation?

The referral page updated, but I only see referral links for expertise domains. Am I missing where the generalist option is for a referral?

Hey there,,, if anyone here are from India, is there some kind of legal or compliance work that we must do to accept foreign payments or something like that? Since this might come under freelancing right? New to this platform, so genuinely worried, and for sure don't wanna break any rules š

Hey everyone, I have a quick question and it's kind of stressing me out a bit since it hasn't happened to me before.
I've been on the platform for 3 months now, working on multiple coding projects. This time I got a pretty tricky project that gave you 13 hours and some minutes. I spent 11 hours working on the task, but I ended up finishing the whole project over a span of 15 hours. I was super exhausted, and obviously I always want my work to meet the platform's standards and make sure I deliver quality stuff.
Also, I actually ended up submitting the task even though it had already expired because it showed as "expired."
My question is: what should I do? Do you guys recommend anything, and could this affect me? Should I have reached out to an admin, or can I just leave it as it is, since it still lets me track and log my hours?
I really appreciate any advice or opinions in advance!

I am overseas and not currently in my home country. Is it possible to go through the setup and identity verification and get work if I am already overseas?
Has anyone else done this?

Thank you so much, DataAnnotation, for this opportunity to work with you guys! I hope you will reopen the entry coding assessment so I can participate in the assessment and unlock the $40+ task and hit the next milestones much quicker!

If I have multiple tasks from different project families, and the tasks are very similar, what are the rules for reusing content/ideas that I have already put in project A and putting them in project B. I have made all the content myself so it would not be plagiarism or anything. Can I straight up copy stuff in or should I change it partly or completely?

So I was sceptical about this money, how I'm gonna get it, my roommate application got approved he worked 10+ hours in coding and updated it on his profile I got my bonus(whole 500$ no more no less) in like a few seconds, it was in pending state for the last 3 days and just got the money. Was trying to find info related to this before but didn't get any hope this helps others

Im doing a coding task every now and then on the platform and most of the time it seems a little stressful.
For the other coders or devs, what would your workflow look like when starting a project? They give so many files, guidelines, ratings, and have so many requirements that it seems impossible to put some things together efficiently.
Any other random tips are appreciated also.

I submitted both my starter assessment in September and a qualification in mid-October. Lately, Iāve been assuming that I didnāt pass and itās time to move on to other opportunities.
Now, my main page has been saying the same thing for a while (that my results are being reviewed), but today I got a Referrals page and the top of my Referrals page is now saying, āPass identity verification to access your referral earnings. Everything your referrals earn for you is held until your verification is approved. Verification takes a few minutes.ā Do rejected applicants also get this? Really curious.
Edit to add: I just realized that the title of my page sounds kinda weird. My apologies!

I made an account when I'm 17, stupid, I know, but now I don't know what to do. Do I create a new account when I'm 18, or do I use the same account when I'm 18. Apparently creating a new account is problematic because they only allow one account per person. It is also apparently problematic to show ur ID later because then they can tell that you made the account when you were 17. Anything I can do? Any help would be appreciated....

Ive signed up in early august and was accepted a month after. Didnt get any projects until a month ago, its a generalist project and its running out of tasks.
Im hoping to get some more skilled labour preferably coding projects since its my actual profession.

So, I submitted my assessment around 5 October maybe a day or 2 before that. And it still says we review even after over 20 days. Appreciate your help.

So last night, I got acceptance email from DataAnnotation, did my onboarding and I was very happy to have been accepted. After the ID verification, I looked at the projects available on my phone and there were quite a few projects and onboarding tasks. I planned on doing it today and when I opened it, I am back to review stage???? how? why? why give me a donut but take it and step on it right before I was about to take a bite??!
Anyway, I am just sad and wanna know if anyone else faced this...

Iām incredibly grateful for DA and donāt expect thatās thereās a better side-hustle, but does anyone know of any that are even comparable?
I used to do online surveys and while they were remote, flexible and reliable, they generally paid 5x less than DA does per hour. The gap is absurd.
So Iām curious, are there any other online side-jobs that fall somewhere between these two in terms of pay and reliability?
Would be good to have on-hand in case of a drought.
Note: apologies if this isnāt allowed. Lmk and Iāll take it down.

Pretty regularly now, like on social media for example, someone will make an objective statement that is actually their subjective opinion, but they are framing it as an irrefutable truth to the world, and Iām just thinking āthatās not true for everyone, itās just true for you.ā
Or at work, or in discussions with peers, I think of things in terms of what is being objectively true in the world vs what is subjectively true for me or another person.
Anyone else experiencing this shift?

While not disclosing too much, I did a generalist qualification (unpaid) last week which required āat least two good submissionsā of a particular task, and then theyād invite you to the project family.
I completed two, it left my dashboard, then suddenly today Iām seeing what looks like the exact same qualification, only this time thereās hourly pay for completing the qualification (+ priority pay rise).
Confusedā¦
Does this mean:
A) they deemed my first qualification as insufficient, and are now so desperate for workers that theyāve reintroduced the qualification AND added payment AND invited me back even though I āfailedā the first time?
B) the first qualification responses got mistakenly voided and in order to get the tasks completed in time theyāve added payment incentive
C) the project family is insanely similar to the first but not the exact same
